My Tuscany dream

This is by far the best hotel experience I’ve had. Everything was excellent and the pictures shown here don’t make this place justice, at all… I want to stay longer, kind of forever. I rarely leave comments after a stay, but this place… it’s everything and more of my Tuscany dream. But really surrealistic. And absolutely wonderful! (Service, food, experience and everything was absolutely 10/10)!. See you soon!

19 years on, still perfect.

Really cant fault the place. Its superb. Each and every staff member were exceptionally friendly, making a fuss of our 3 year old. Nothing was too much for them. Wished we had longer there to enjoy the grounds and swimming pool. My wife came here 19 years ago and wasnt disappointed with the return visit. Wonderful.

Pretty Poggiale

This is a great place to stay when visiting Tuscany. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The grounds are gorgeous. The breakfast is excellent. Their location is 5 minutes by car to the town of San Casciano which has shopping and a good variety of restaurants and free parking! There are many Tuscan villages and towns within an hour's drive. I would definitely stay here again

Absolute 13th century gem of a property that’s just outside of San Casciano and 25 minute drive outside Florence and 30 minutes from FLR airport. Villa Poggiale provides beauty, charm and hospitality and amazingly, at a fair rate!! Family of 6 people in 3 different rooms for 3 nights, each room with unique design. This is a well maintained, well managed, and well run property that has preserved its history & quaintness but at same time provides modern day amenities- AC in all rooms, well appointed bathrooms, complimentary coffee & tea machines, spa & exercise room, pool ( though closed for seasonal maintenance over our stay), and great parking for those renting cars(which we highly suggest as Uber & cabs hard to get & expensive). And lastly, their included breakfast is FABULOUS- I read some negative reviews on breakfast and we can comfortably and confidently say that this is bad information or that Villa has upgraded since those reviews- this coming from grown family of 6 people that LOVE their breakfast!! Unequivocally, when we are back in Florence we will stay here again !!
