It’s a hostel, not a 5 star hotel with 1 star prices, walking distance from food and such. We went to fly fish, so I rated accordingly. Place to rest and meet fly fishing guides and taxis worked out fine.

Experiência ruim

Localização boa, esse foi o único ponto positivo. Estadia incluía café da manhã, que era muito ruim, e o hóspede ainda necessitava lavar a louça do café da manhã. Para mim foi o cúmulo, pois se o café da manhã estava incluído, então o serviço completo em relação a ele também deveria estar. Havia uma cozinha que podia ser usada 24h, aí sim cabe ao hóspede cozinhar, usar e lavar sua própria louça. Não havia horário específico para o serviço de quarto. A camareira sempre batia em nossa porta para arrumar o quarto quando já havíamos voltado. Enfim, há outras possibilidade muito melhores pelo mesmo preço.

bariloche con amigos

muy buen desayuno por la relación precio calidad. Agregaría mas limpieza, camas mas comodas, mejorar la estética del lugar (se ve muy descuidado y venido a bajo), y cuidar el tema de los ruidos (muchos huespedes gritando ys escuchaba todo). Excelente trato y cordialidad del personal.

Great stay

We had a great stay at Tierra Gaucha, the staff was great and the room was comfy. We actually ended up trying all 3 Tierra Gaucha hostels and this one is the best! The only downside is that the kitchen is quite small, so it’s a bit complicated if you want to cook at the same time as other people. WiFi was working well although it was a bit annoying to have to re-enter the password every time.

So friendly staff

Excellent hostel. The staff is the best! So helpful. I didn't have a sleeping bag and I was going out camping and all shops were closed. The staff were calling their friends and tried to find a sleeping bag for me. They ended up giving me a blanket from the hostel. Also it's clean.

Prima hostel met goed ontbijt

Prima hostel met redelijke keukenfaciliteiten. Ontbijt is goed en uitgebreid. Kamer zijn wat verouderd maar schoon, WiFi verbinding is slecht. Overall vrij prijzig, maar marktconform in het hoogseizoen.

Hotel was good and always always clean!! Wifi was a bit rubbish but wifi seems a bit rubbish everywhere we have stayed in Argentina so I wouldn't let that put you off!

Threadbare and basic

Very basic. I got a private room for $84 night- not worth it. PROS: good location short walk from city center; front desk staff all spoke good English - not so housekeeping and kitchen, good towels. CONS: WiFi was terrible. Cycled on and off every couple minutes and not strong signal when it did work. I suspect this is intentional to prevent streaming, but is very frustrating to even check and send email. Shower head splayed water all over the place. You would think they could replace a $10 shower head. Reported to staff that toilet would run and in room safe needed resetting. Was told would be done that day- never happened. Overall the room was beat up and thread bare, but clean to their credit. The sheets on my queen bed were "short sheeted". The moron who made my bed prior to occupancy left six inches of uncovered mattress at head and foot - unbelievable. My first task was to completely remake the bed, changed the bottom and top sheets and rotated the bottom sheet to where it covered the mattress. The sheets were all mix and match. Breakfast was basic continental with individual coffee bags - nothing special. WOULD be nice to have a chair in room. This is a backpacker place for guests who have zero expectations...and they deliver!

Muy buen trato del personal, comodidades para la comida en general incluso los desayunos. Lo unico que no hay ascensor, y en la habitacion que nos toco, si bien tenia vista al Nahuel Huapi, tenia la cortina rota.
