Used to be special. Now everything feels overpriced, understaffed and kind of grimey. Have been coming annually for 7 years and like it less each time. Even the ‘kids club’ which used to be a treat now is just overpriced babysitting/movie watching

Loved this hotel so much. Amazing staff that were SO friendly from beginning to end. Super clean room and the housekeeper left us a sweet note. Beautiful property. Pools are 10/10. We will definitely be staying here again.

The exterior areas of the property are beautiful, but the interior of the building and rooms are very outdated and drab, making it appear dirty. The service was hit or miss, with a few staff members going above and beyond, but other times we encountered no staff near the pool or had food items just never delivered. For the high price, I expected a much nicer product and better service. I would value the resort worth $300/night or less.

The staff was very kind. Golf course was in great shape. Restaurants left a lot to be desired as they were pretty lackluster.

We were very disappointed with our stay. The gentleman at check in wasn’t very nice or welcoming. They didn’t ever come and clean our room. The nicest interaction we had was with the lady at the coffee bar. Hopefully they can work on their hospitality. It’s a shame that it’s expensive and they aren’t welcoming at all. The property is beautiful.

Stayed here for a weekend as a family of four. It was perfect! Shopping and dining were wonderfully located close to our stay. Plus, being right by Six Flags Fiesta Texas was helpful as both our kids couldn’t wait to ride some roller coasters. The resort was clean, staff was very friendly, and overall a great place.

Been visiting here for 20 years. Always great service. It’s time to update the restrooms and the pools need a little work but overall a great place to stay.

The bathroom had mold in shower tub area, large broken tile next the toilet, no or not working bathroom fan leaving the steam to linger for a while until cleared. There was a small fridge but it was barely cold. The ice machine had no clear indiction where it was located so I had to wander around for awhile until located. For the overall price it was not worth it.

We stayed at The Villas at La Cantera. Highly recommend—beautiful setting, nice room, great atmosphere, quiet. It was a staycation but felt like a true getaway.

Room were clean and comfortable. Staff was enthusiastic and helpful, seemingly a rarity these days. We stayed on all adult floor, Seven, and enjoyed happy hour, breakfast, and floor concierges. The package came with spa day passes. The spa is a must with steam room, sauna, relaxation room, views, outdoor heated pool, and hot tub. We got treatment and they were awesome! Will definitely come back. Lots of pools and amenities.
