"Afroditi was an amazing host, we had such a wonderful time staying with her in Agia Effimia. We were welcomed, shown around our room and given detailed recommendations of things to do on the island. The room was beautiful, immaculately clean and had a fantastic view of the marina. Her son, Gregory also has a fantastic cafe on the front with a discount for guests staying at the Ionian suites - the food was great. We had a lovely time, and we will definitely be back. "Our second stay, room a little tired. The breakfast is very good, staff helpful and friendly. We loved the adults only pool. The only this that spoilt it was the penny pinching attitude to in-room drinks; charging €1 each for tea bags is beyond mean! We went out and bought our own."

"We had the most amazing two-week stay at Faros Residence in Fiskardo and have already booked to return next year – that’s how much we loved it! The apartment was beautiful, but what truly blew us away was the incredible terrace and breathtaking views. We spent hours just relaxing and watching the boats come and go – it was so peaceful and calming. The swimming pool, though small, was perfect for cooling off, and I often had it all to myself. It felt like a private oasis! One of the biggest highlights was the daily servicing of the apartment – fresh bedding and towels throughout our stay made it feel like a luxury hotel, while still having the comfort and privacy of a self-contained space. A special thank you to Violtza, who came daily to clean. She was so kind, friendly, and clearly took pride in her work – it was such a treat having her around. All the staff were incredibly helpful and welcoming, from assisting with our luggage and shopping on arrival to helping us with next year’s booking dates. They truly went above and beyond to make our holiday special. The location is perfect – just a 5-minute walk to Fiskardo port, where you’ll find a fantastic selection of restaurants. We didn’t have a single bad meal – every place had wonderful food and lovely staff. There’s free parking at the apartments, and I’d definitely recommend hiring a car to explore the island at your own pace. Faros Residence is a gem – peaceful, luxurious, and perfectly located. Thoroughly recommend"

"Although a small apartment kitchen/dining, shower room and bedroom. Good balcony overlooking pool and out to see with uninterrupted views of those magnificent sunsets. You do need to hire a car. Although limited utensils we could make our own breakfast. Although there is breakfast available at 15€ pp. Plenty of places to eat locally all drivable. "
