Samdari Trip

Stay was comfortable

Beautiful palace gardens, away from the city, stables have been converted into rooms which are a little dark and dated but overall comfortable. There are peacocks, langurs, and horses in the grounds. Staff are more like family retainers than trained hotel staff but very helpful. We would return to this hotel if in jodhpur.

Good: the staff is great service oriented. Breakfast was also good with enough items to select from. I do not understand how this is 5 star hotel and heritage. 1. Room smelled 2. Humid 3. Aged floor 4. Light bulbs not working in bathroom 5. No wash cloth in bathroom 6. Towels were little yellowed 7. They give you lock and key which does not make it heritage. 8. All rooms window faces hallways so if you keep drapes open then all those passes bu to get to their room will look in your room. 9. Sofa had stain on it.

Room was absolutely clean. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Food in the restaurant was delicious. Great service & beautifully maintained property. Right from the time we arrived at the property, welcome by reception staff, staff at the restaurant, room service staff, security personnel…all were extremely courteous. Credit goes to the management for training its people & maintaining the property so well. Will visit again whenever in Jodhpur.
