The room was fantastic and very clean. Staff was very friendly and hotel is close to the Christmas Market and train station. Added bonus was the bag of fresh baked goods in the morning and the coffee maker on the 1st floor. We will definitely stay here on our next trip to Salzburg.

clean and comfortable, perfect for quick night in salzburg before moving on to the next stop
We had a good experience. There was no elevator and we were on the 2nd floor. It was a difficult climb for my husband and when there was a cancelation on the ground for the owner offered to move us. The fresh crossant at our door the morning of departure was a nice added touch!
Self-check-in process worked perfectly and we appreciated the welcome gift. The room was clean and comfortable and being provided with a fan was nice. The hotel is within walking distance of all the main sights, and there is an excellent Indian restaurant right outside the door. As other reviewers have mentioned, the room does not have air conditioning, so that’s why I gave a lower score on comfort. The nights were stuffy despite the fan, and there is some street noise. With the early check-out requirement (10 am), finding a little breakfast treat outside our door was a lovely departing treat.
My question is, what qualifies to be a hotel? And this is not. A motel is much better than this. If you came as a tired tourist and came across this unmanned place, you'll be lost. You ring the door bell near the side walks and be asked what is your code. You let yourself in into this sterile place and into your windowless room. Although the room had a sunroof ceiling, the ceiling was very low. I'm short but I hit my head walking this room. We didn't see anybody all throughout the time we were there. It was an unnerving experience.
This not a hotel it is more of a cell. The WIFI was not working for me.
Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist voll okay. Solide. Ruhig gelegen.
