We had a wonderful stay despite the weather being mixed. The spa was a lovely treat when sitting by the pool wasn’t appealing - although make sure you book your hour as it fills up quickly. We had a lovely evening in the bar with music and tapas - it was meant to be in the rose garden but equally lovely. Very friendly and helpful staff. Clean, comfortable room. Lovely swimming pools. Great setting and easy to get to Beynac. Hard to find using the SatNav. Could have better directions in the booking confirmation.

Excellent stay and charming hosts

Agnes was amazing. Phoned ahead to say we would be delayed and arrive after front desk closed. Quickly sent a text to me detailing room no. Room code and wi-fi code. Took pressure off us on our late flight. Next morning she gave us some free coffees as we missed breakfast. A bubbly super friendly and helpful lady. Directions, iron borrowing etc. Room clean quiet cool (41 degrees outside!) Cleaning staff all running around motivated and efficient. Thoroughly recommended.

One of the best hotels we have stayed in in France. Perfect for a romantic break, with lovely rooms, fantastic views and delicious dinners set in a beautiful courtyard. Well placed for trips to local Cahors vineyards and for the town itself, which is charming. Both waiting and front-of-house staff were attentive and engaging and the sommelier suggested great wines at reasonable prices. Definitely deserving of its Relais & Chateau status and well worth a route deviation to enjoy.

Perfectly placed hotel in the middle of a lovely town. Clean, great staff, good beer, pool table and great bacon at breakfast. Will be back soon!

We had a great stay at La bayardine. Our studio was lovely, very clean and had all the facilities anyone could need. Breakfast was great and came along with suggestions of what we could do in the area. Great location with beautiful views and a nice walk into Sarlat centre. Thank you Frank and Nelly. A' bientot. Stayed here last year and again recently. Great location, good rooms, excellent facilities and lovely food at the restaurant. Recommended.
