The hotel is well priced and convenient. The deal breaker is the strong sewer smell making it very unpleasant inside the room.

Dissapointing
Just back from a week at the Ohtels Villa Dorada. On the positive side the hotel is clean, rooms are fine and the pool area is spacious with plenty of sun loungers. On the negative - the food was poor with very limited choices for dinner, nearly always cold. The big negative for me however was the attitude and lack of interest many of the staff (not all) showed in regard to customer service. I witnessed bar staff being rude to customers, ignoring them and leaving them standing. I have stayed at many of the nearby hotels in Salou before and have never experienced this level of apathy and lack of friendliness - many of the staff seem like they would rather not be there. I will definitely NOT be going back.

We stayed for a week. Was a really good price for the week too. The hotel was really good. Clean always tidy. The staff were very helful at all times. After staying at a few hotels in salou this was the best hotel. I would 5 star this hotel

Hotel check in was quick and was given a room with pool view like i asked for. Disapointed as other reviews said safe was free yet I was charged 23 euros, room was nice size for 2( Me and my wife), cleaners came in everyday and generally did a good job. Bed was actually fairly comfortable and bathroom was nice.Plenty of sunbeds available around pool all day, main problem we encountered was at breakfeast, my wife is Gluten free and always likes mixed fresh fruit salad in the morning but surpirsingly this was never available unless we asked for it every morning for them to prepare some for us which we did not like having to ask for as every hotel we have ever stayed at before always has this available, also could do with more than one toaster as there was always big que.I agree with most reviews on here some of the staff in the restaurant are not very helpful and are very slow at clearing the tables. Location is on slight hill but was not really too much of a problem.

Nice hotel
When we arrived at the hotel we were told to transfer to their sister hotel, Ohtels Villa Romana. The experience was good. We were on half board and the food was great. After 5 days of stay, we gained weight because the food was bountiful. The overall experience was good.

Nice family Hotel, close to beach
We stayed here in September for a week,upon arrival there was a little problem but that was on our side,this what quickly resolved and we got given the keycards to our room, the room was clean, spacious and comfortable. During our first night we thought the aircon was not working, a member of staff who seems to work at nights was unable to have a conversation in English and we ended up asking another member of staff the day after. The problem was the balcony door has to be shut in order for the aircon to work. (The technician and i had a laugh about it, he also was very helpful and polite). The bad points of the trip was that the maids come into the room eventhough we put the sign up for the room not to be cleaned early in the morning. This seemed to be a regular thing throughout the week. The restaurant was excellent, lots of varieties during the week, food tasted good. Only complaint was that on 2 of the days there seemed to be lacking a member ot staff and the members of staff seemed to rush too much in order for us to enjoy our meal. The animacio people (entertainment) was fun, although not enough variety. The staff were nice,had a lot of fun, and got on well with them. Although i pointed out some bad points, Next year we are planning on staying here again but for a big family holiday. One thing I would like to say about this hotel is that it is a good nice hotel, very well organised and apart from a couple, all members of staff were amazing.

Les chambres sont grands et propres. Un petit probleme d'odeur dans la salle de bain. L'insonorisation des chambres pourrait etre mieux. Nous avons passe un agreable sejour.

Pour un séjour en famille tranquille ne venez pas.
Premier séjour a salou en famille pour le parc port aventura, nous avons résider une semaine dans cet hôtel, les points positifs : très bien situer en bord de mer non loin des sites touristiques. Un confort des chambres correcte, lits de bonnes factures, petite chambre supplémentaire avec canapé lit. 2 TV dispos et en français. Buffet correct, avec une variété satisfaisante. Personnel d'accueil en début de séjour agréables, l'hôtel dispose de piscine intérieur et d'un spa, pour un 3 étoiles c'est pas mal. Les ponts négatifs : l'isolation est horrible, nous avions l'impression d'avoir les voisins au milieu de la chambre. Les voisins qui rentrent tard après minuit, et font un vacarme pas possible, sans qu'aucun personnel de l'hôtel n'intervienne malgré le bruit important. Par ailleurs nous avons eu la malchance d'avoir une chambre qui donne sur la rue. Et en face un restaurant karaoké géorgien qui faisait un bruit épouvantable. Donc pour dormir dans le calme et le respect, impossible, n'y comptez pas, vous serez réveillé toute la soirée et la nuit. Le personnel du buffet désagréables. Aucune ne vous souris, elles font toutes la tête et vous regarde de travers?. Vous vous faites facilement piquer les places assises lorsque vous vous lever pour aller vous servir, les petits déjeuner ne sont pas au niveau, viennoiserie périmés, et sans intérêt. Quand au plats de viandes, un seul choix : du porc, avec parfois un peu de poulet et poissons. Et quasi pas d'animations pour les enfants.

Pas forcément approprié pour les français. Beaucoup d anglais, menus et prestations surtout fait pour eux. Remontées d odeurs d egouts important dans les chambres, pas tres agréable. Belles piscines interieur et extérieures Self service, avec grand choix de nourriture, le côté cuisson en direct tres bien, mais souvent la queue.

Hallenbad ab 17.00 geschlossen. Speiseraum sehr laut, Bar hat keine Atmosphäre. Keine richtigen Kellner vorhanden. Zum Teil unfreundliches Personal. An der Reception freundliches Personal. Frei zugängliche WC nicht sauber Beim eigenen Bad stank es nach Kloake Es handelt sich nicht um ein 3 Sternehotel. Das Hotel müsste grundsätzlich renoviert werden.

Le personnel est très professionnel mais pas assez nombreux pour que la prestation attendue soit a la hauteur de ce type d’hôtel, exemples parmi d'autres quand on arrive au "restaurant" la plupart du temps il faut se dresser la table (verres,couvert...).les chaines de télévision françaises sont inopérantes ,.... heureusement le soleil était au rendez-vous

Hôtel ayant besoin d'un bon lifting.Mon balcon et ceux de mes voisins avaient une belle vue sur les poubelles de la ville.D'où bataille,peut être, avec les moustiques la première nuit avant d'acheter le produit nécessaire. Pas de chance, certainement la plus mauvaise chambre? Bruit persistant 24H/24 des centrales de climatisation et frigo sous le balcon.Nourriture moyenne,rupture de beurre le matin,fruits pas mûres, un seul grille pains pour tous et attente infernale.Pas d'avis sur les piscines, jacuzzis et salle de sport que je n'ai pas fréquenté préférant l'extérieure.Par contre hôtel bien situé près de la mer et de l'ensemble des commerces. Personnel peut souriant et peu accueillant dans les services.A la réception, satisfaisant.Nous avons fait avec pendant 10 nuits.

La realidad fue mejor que las expectativas que tenía del hotel, salimos contentos en todos los aspectos. Es verdad que piscina, gym y jacuzzi no hicimos uso por lo que ahí no puedo opinar, por lo demás encantados. Si volvemos a Salou ya sabemos dónde hospedarnos👍
