"Two issues.
1. Toilet paper is very thin.
2. They didn't tell me at check in that they were putting a charge thru on my card. I had already paid for the room and seeing a second charge go thru was unsettling. I hadn't been asked or given permission to charge my card. I was assured it would be reversed at checkout but I haven't seen that go thru my account yet. Their explanation was reasonable and I trust that I will be refunded but it would have been better if I had been asked before they processed it."
"The check in was quick and efficient at the hotel bar. The room was surprisingly spacious and the bed extremely comfortable. There was also a decent sized kitchenette, far better than many other Motels I’ve stayed at. Salmo is a small town so don’t expect lots of restaurants although there was a local brewery serving food just a couple of minutes walk away as well as the hotel bar. A couple of other stores which were shut by the time I had arrived. "
"Gilles was great checking us in and showing us around. The history in this place is worth the stay alone. Dave your pictures for your friends and family and not social media. This is a word of mouth place that needs to be seen to believed. Can’t wait to get back"
