Saline Point Trip

Bay Gardens Hotel is quite a dated hotel however some refurbishments were taking place to the dining area just prior to me leaving. I found the meals (lunch and dinner) good with breakfast being my least favourite as could be quite hit and miss on some days. My room was a standard king size room with a balcony which was an adequate sized room and modern which was cleaned thoroughly each day. I used the gym most days which is small however has all the necessary equipment for a decent work out. There is a shuttle bus which takes you to the beach and sister hotels which is a great plus about this hotel stay. Another plus is the hotel provides water filling stations which provide filtered water. The majority of the staff were helpful and pleasant and the hotel is located in an ideal spot near to shops and a mall and local bars which I felt safe going to as a lone female traveller. St Lucia hotels can be extremely expensive but I found this to be good value for money and would definitely stay there again in the future.

This place was absolutely magical! From the incredible room amenities to the delicious food, everything about our stay was five-star. The pools were breathtaking, the views were spectacular, and the entire property felt first class. The staff were also very friendly and welcoming, which made the experience even better. We had such a wonderful time and will definitely be back!

The pool is clean and enjoyable for swimming laps. I often had the pool to myself The room was kept clean. It had a small but effective refrigerator and microwave. Glasses, plates and silverware were useful and cleaned for me after use. The staff was very friendly and responsive. The breakfast was bountiful, consisting of fresh fruit, made to order omelettes, cereal, pastries and delicious coffee I haven’t tried the bar yet The neighborhood is convenient with a mall with supermarket and small, friendly bars and restaurants. I enjoyed the Bay Gardens so much, I decided to stay another week!

Rooms are very spacious and well kept (freshly painted, new appliances). Pool is very nice, gym is OK (excellent variety of equipment for a hotel gym, but kind of old/worn). Location right on the beach is fantastic — water is SO nice. And plenty of water sport options to be had. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Of note, we did have a bunch of minor problems — TV didn’t work, shower drain got clogged, key entry stopped working. They did fix them all fairly quickly, but I guess they could use a bit of a maintenance upgrade. None caused us anything other than a First World Problem! Overall, a very nice stay in Saint Lucia. I think other resorts may be nicer, but value here was definitely good from whatever else I saw.

I think for a hotel of that stature, there should be microwave in the rooms or at least available in a kitchenette area, in additional to a ice making machine.
