"First impressions were pleasant. We were a family of 5 staying in the family room with private bathroom. The room was quite basic - large enough for the 5 of us, with x2 double beds and a single bed comfortably fitting in the room. However it was lacking features that you may expect in hotels and especially for longer stays - eg) TV. "The Cacharel is like going back in time to a French ranch house. Staff is incredible- food is amazing. Gorgeous large pool (eat there!) rooms all have AC and are comfortable. Incredible location right by marshes with hundreds of flamingos and ample places to ride the iconic white horses. We had no idea how amazing this part of the world is. Would absolutely recommend if you want a wonderful once in a lifetime family adventure! We loved our stay (and added a night!) "

The 1784 building is beautifully designed and restored. Attention to detail, love and grace abound. Breakfast is delicious with fresh breads and croissants, homemade jams, fresh fruit and wonderful French cheeses. The grounds are lovely, even in early spring. I am so happy to have stayed in this charming home in the South...

"The grounds of the hotel were fabulous! I actually saw a flock of pink flamingos fly above the hotel. The employees were very helpful and friendly. Hotel is well situated for visiting the Camargue area and offers ample parking. However, the smell of humidity was very strong in the room and not pleasant."

"The owners were more than hospitable. Marie-Laurence treated me as if we'd been best friends. She was warm and charming. Fransico was also pleasant, went around his duties quietly but always with a smile. This couple has created an oasis out of a horse ranch. Some rooms, the pony stalls, therefore are small. Breakfast, not included, beautifully served on my front porch. "

"The staff member at check in was friendly and welcoming. It was close to grocery stores, a laundrimatte and food. Whilst basic, it was clean and large enough for my family of four and our luggage. It was an easy drive to Arles and Avignon. We wpuld stay here again. "
