Holiday in Salamander Bay

Room is clean, tidy and has a well equipped kitchenette. Room has all amenities a traveller needed. With only four rooms and no children allowed, the hotel is very quiet and suits couples taking a break or business travellers. Lynne the proprietor is very friendly and helpful. There is a vegetable garden where guests can help themselves with the produce. Happy to come back and stay again.

Wonderful - Quiet and well sized room. Beach is across the road. Great BBQ and pool area - and one that can be enjoyed as adults only. :) :) Shame we only stayed the one night - We will be back!

Great 'getaway' retreat

very well placed away from the hustle and bustle of the main centre but close enough to everything and the bay is literally just across the road. Very comfortable, quiet and plenty of room. No service due to COVID but the owners are on site and only a phone call away if you need it. Lovely garden area and pool right outside the door.

Clean and tidy. Very quiet and room we stayed in was located to the rear of the property. Although we didn't use the BBQ area, it was well appointed with pleasant surrounds and close to the pool. Very friendly greeting on arrival and explanation of local amenities (cafes, restaurants, etc.).

Very tidy and clean roomand lovely hosts. Close to the beach, local shops and the bowling club for food and drinks. Not much to do at the place itself but great for a good stopover for a good accommodation.

Great Location

We were welcomed by Darryl, the owner, lovely gentleman and the check-in was smooth. The property is directly opposite Wanda Beach but also has a beautiful resort style pool. Wasn't heated at this time of year which was a shame but apparently heated at other times. Very tropical bbq area with great outdoor furniture and very big bbq. The motel style room is large with timber flooring. Immaculate throughout. Complimentary juice, cereal and cookies along with the usual tea and coffee. Our only disappointment was the bed, not very comfortable and squeaky.

Everything was perfect :-)

This place was perfect :-) The room was comfy, clean, spacious, and had everything I needed. The grounds are very nice and well looked after, a lot of effort has gone into making both the inside and outdoor areas great. The people are so friendly and welcoming. I would definitely stay again the next time I’m in the area.
