"The hotel in general is good, but the air conditioning system DOES NOT EXIST, it is a non-standard air conditioning system, which means that there is heat in the room and you have to sleep with the windows open and in our case we were on the floor Low, I would not return nor recommend this hotel"

It is a reminder of how hotels used to be. Well run, rather than the modern trend of style over substance. Great"

"Good location. Close walking distance to everything. Easy parking. Had a beautiful view of the cathedral. Downsides were that we could not get a/c working very well and the morning breakfast was disappointing for the price with no freshly cooked eggs."

"The room was very small overall. The bed was comfortable. The only window was a small sky light. This particular room is not pictured on the hotel website. Breakfast was good. We added parking and I must say the access to the parking garage was somewhat difficult to find and a bit nerve wracking to navigate through the garage as it was so narrow! Overall, a good one night stay at an appropriate price."

"The best thing about this hotel is that it is next to Mercadona, a supermarket with ready-to-go meals available. It is also exactly next to a bus stop and the Plaza Mayor is only a 10 minutes walk away."

"The hotel Castellano is located at the city centre and you can go by foot from there to the Salamanca University attractions. There you have, even, an interesting annex, part of the hotel, like a pub, where you can sit at the tables around the sidewalk and watch the moviment at Portugal Avenue. A simple and enjoyable place, good point to support your needs when visiting Salamanca. Thanks a lot, Mr José and Mr Christian."

"Very convenient to the Plaza Major & every thing else in the vicinity. There is plenty to see & do. I could have stayed longer, sadly I couldn’t. Hotel needs a some updating but the price & convenience out weighs the minor negatives. Nice & friendly staff. Some rooms are very small & bathtubs are very high. Not enough grab bars in shower area. I still recommend staying there."
