Staying with Martine & Patrice is such a great thing to do if visiting the region. Off the beaten track, away from the crowds and a delightful drive winding over a small hill/mountain range to get there. Once there it is like a gorgeous home away from home. The food is delicious and they are so very welcoming. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Es handelt sich um einen alten Landgasthof, 10 Minuten von Sainte Marie aux Mines entfernt. Wir waren an einem Donnerstag Abend die einzigen Gäste in Hotel und Restaurant. Da wir zwei Männer auf zwei Motorräder waren, bot uns die Chefin an, ein Zimmer mit zwei getrennten Betten zu nehmen, für einen Mehrpreis von 5 €. Das Zimmer war o.k. und sauber. Zwei Dinge haben uns gestört: 1. stromerte die Hauskatze durch alle Zimmer, sprang auch auf die Betten, etc.. Für einen Katzenallergiker wie mich natürlich suboptimal. 2. die Abtrennung von Dusche und Toilette zum Zimmer hin erfolgte nur durch einen Vorhang. Wir hatten den Tisch einige Wochen vorher online reserviert, was natürlich als einzige Gäste nicht notwendig gewesen wäre. Die Buchung wurde uns auch bestätigt. Allerdings fehlte der Hinweis darauf, dass an diesem Tag ein à-la-Carte-Betrieb nicht stattfand. Wir mussten uns also mit einem Salat und einem Flammkuchen zufriedengeben. Insgesamt würde ich sagen, kann man hier übernachten und essen, man muss es aber nicht. Die Lage ist für Motorradfahrer allerdings geradezu ideal, weil der Gasthof unmittelbar am Weg zur Route des Cretes liegt.

Mooi gelegen hotel, wel oud gebouw en kleine kamers en badkamers. Eten is subliem en erg aantrekkelijk geprijsd. Komen volgend jaar terig.
