We stayed at the property for New Year. We enjoyed walking in the areas around (Val David and Val Morin) in the day and sitting infront of the cosy fire in the evening. If you want a peaceful get away, this is the place for you. Plus the omelette at breakfast was yummy! Enjoy!

Not sure why this place gets good ratings. It’s was such a disappointment! It’s a small old house converted into an Auberge. It must be at least 70 years old. It has NO AIR CONDITIONING! That means that when you walk in, you smell old, musty heavy air and it stank! Wouldn’t be surprised if there was mold. No front desk. No place to leave the keys when you leave. My room did not have its own bathroom. The floors and stairs creek so much that you hear everyone come in and leave. The front door stays unlocked all night, so anyone can come in and out at any time, all in an area with intermittent internet service. Sketchy and scary! Wouldn’t even consider eating there even though breakfast was included.

Bonjour Madame,Je regrette que vous n'ayez pas appréciez votre séjour.Nous avons trois unités en location : nous sommes un B&B. Nous n'avons donc pas de bureau de réception. Nous vous avons accueilli à votre arrivée, remis les clés de votre chambre et vous informer du petit-déjeuner INCLUS, servi entre 8h et 10h. Nos trois unités ont leur salle de bain PRIVÉE. À votre départ, il suffisait de nous remettre vos clés et nous vous aurions donné votre facture car elle était payable sur place.

Our trip was all about our 3 year old grandson and his mom. Unfortunately, our rental was definitely not kid/family friendly. Very isolated and at least 30 minutes away from the first town. No TV or pool and the lake was not to swim in. We decided to leave after the first night because our grandson was being what a toddler is and we felt bad for the other renters. We paid the $300 for the second night even though we left one day early. Not recommended unless you’re aiming to retreat from everything and everyone for a day or two

We are sorry that your stay did not go well. We are a gite with 3 units and not a hotel. We pay a lot of attention to the comfort and tranquility of our guests, thank you for understanding it. In the case of young children, it would be a good idea to contact us beforehand. I specify that Sainte Marguerite is 7 minutes away and Sainte Adèle, 15 minutes.

A lovely property, very quaint and comfortable. The rooms are very basic but have everything you need. In our room the bathroom was just outside, but it was dedicated to us. The dining room (breakfast included) has wonderful views over a small lake. And the owner is very warm and helpful.

Clean rustic atmosphere. Pleasant surroundings. Very friendly and welcoming proprietress. Like living in your own home. Full breakfast was freshly cooked and was really great.we would definitely go back again if we are in the same location.

Quaint property. Very clean. Room was tiny and double bed was hard as a rock. Breakfast was good. Very expensive for what you get.

Relaxing getaway
Very pleasant stay ! The hosts were courteous. And the site is very relaxing. Breakfast was really good too. Beds were ok. And there’s no AC. Beside that wonderful stay. :)

Lovely!
Knowing very little French, I was worried about staying in a B&B. All my worries quickly disappeared upon arrival. The hosts are friendly and very welcoming. The house is lovely and overlooks a large pond. The breakfast is amazing!!! Would highly recommend!👍

No air conditioning!
The upstairs bedrooms where guests stay has no air condition or fans. We couldn’t sleep in the inferno that was our room. Way too hot and uncomfortable in the summer heat. Would never stay here again due to this reason. Could have gotten heat stroke !

I loved staying here! It was super cute, the folks were nice, and the breakfast was awesome. It was also very clean. I would highly recommend staying here if you're looking for a hideaway from the city.

Affordable w/a lovely view- but misleading website
I booked this for one night of the Labor Day weekend and was happy to find something at such short notice. Their website said they have a restaurant on site that makes Belgian and French 3 or 4 course meals for dinner. However, when I called to make a reservation for dinner the day of our arrival, they said they no longer made dinner. When I pointed out this was on their website, they said they were working on taking it down from their website and haven't offered the dinner service since the start of the year. I'm not an expert, but I don't think it takes months to take information off a website. They said there was nothing they could do for me and I could cancel if I wanted. We didn't have much choice but to stay there, and it was a nice place with a lovely view of a small lake, but the experience and the way it was handled soured it. We had to take a cab to a nearby village for dinner and that ran us another 50$, plus the driver on the way there drove very recklessly. Not the way I imagined our night away! If we had known, we could have planned differently, but this threw our (only!) evening for a loop. With a few changes, it could be a fine and affordable option for a weekend stay.

Cozy country get away
A little hard to find on GPS, aim for Sainte-Marguerite-Estrelle and go from there. Location is on a cozy little lake. Would expect I've skating in the winter. Could was excellent. Rooms are basic.

Excellent accueil, chambre très agréable !
Nous avons passé une très belle nuit chez Marie-Noëlle ! Un accueil chaleureux, une chambre très agréable et surtout un petit déjeuner au top fait maison (très bon pain, délicieuses confitures, excellente omelette, superbe crêpe au sirop d’érable…). Nous recommandons sans hésiter l’auberge au fil de l’eau pour passer un moment reposant, familiale et chaleureux. Merci encore !
