We had a lovely stay. The owners were very nice and helpful and made an extra effort to provide me with gluten-free crepes at breakfast. The rest of the breakfast was also excellent. I would recommend it and will stay there again if I am in the area.

Long weekend break to visit Normandy beaches and some of the military cemeteries. Ideally placed, bags of character and not too expensive. Helped by the weather which for the end of October was fantastic.

The hotel was a chateau which had been completely refurbished about a year ago. Restaurant was great as was the breakfast. However the room we chose was a de lux garden view room but was far from being a garden view it looked over the court yard. The manager did offer to change our room the second night but as we were only there 2 nights I declined but he did treat us to cocktails so no complaints. Nice older property a few minutes walk from the cathedral, tapestry and a good selection of restaurants and bars. Be aware no air conditioning and you have to pay to park in the driveway.

This was our second stay at the Churchill, and it was just as good as the first. Fabulous historic building, bedroom clean and cool (air conditioning!), friendly staff and a good breakfast.

Beautiful building and luxury rooms. Staff very polite and helpful. Ideal spot to stay for Normandy Beaches and Museums. Only 3 miles from Arromanch & D Day Landings. We loved this hotel, breakfast was plentiful and delicious. We will definitely return as it’s such an ideal spot for visiting the sites.

We stayed here last week for four nights. Such a beautiful hotel in a really beautiful setting. The staff were wonderful, always happy and willing to speak English as our French isn't good!! The food is out of this world and I definitely recommend having at least one evening meal in their restaurant as it's a fantastic experience. Clean room, friendly staff and ideal location

Lovely little hotel, right in the middle of everything. You could see the cathedral spires which were lit up at night. The staff were so friendly and helpful. The room was spotless and warm. There were no coffee/tea making facilities in the room but it didn't matter as there was coffee machine and a fridge with wine/beer/soft drinks in the hall. You just helped yourself and told staff what you'd had the next day. Would definitely stay there again.

Wonderfully warm place. We were greeted late after a delay to our ferry by the owners with a lovely welcome (including from their gentle dog Hunter). Shown to our fantastic room, pass some amazing photos and artefacts from D-day. Our room was great. A superb blend between a brand new modern bathroom and chic traditional French. A beautifully maintained hotel with secure parking (great for motorbikes). The hotel is right in the middle of Bayeux and easy to find. There's no dinner restaurant at the hotel but there are many restaurants only a few minutes away. Inside was spotlessly clean and well set out. My room was gorgeous. Lots of home comforts and very large. The staff were great and breakfast was delicious. Can't find a fault.
