"We arrived at 6pm for Check in & even though there was a note on the door to say it was open, it was locked & no-one came to greet us. The yard was very messy & there were lots of cats everywhere. We left to find more suitable accommodation."

"We arrived after a very long journey and the welcome we received from Charlotte was amazing! She was so helpful and kind in making sure we had everything we needed! The accommodation was super clean and comfortable. And I don't know where to start with the homemade breakfast - we all ate so much as it was all really tasty and fresh. We will definitely stay here again when travelling through France!"

"Such a lovely property in a small village! The hosts are so helpful and friendly."

"We had a very nice stay. Good accommodation with very friendly lady and healthy breakfast. We absolutely recommend this place. Pet friendly!"

"Nice modern but a bit spartan stopover hotel. Charming owner/host Good value for money"

"Our one night stay at Château Picol was our first experience in a French Château. Our hosts served delicious food, which included local produce. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. "
