"We were very happy with Hotel St. Laurent. Excellent location, very clean room, nice windows that opened, good powerful well-stocked shower with lots of hot water, decent bed & linens. We were in the back so had no street noise, but the reviews that mention hall noise are accurate so we took earplugs and had no problems. Staff was excellent. The room was circa 1970 but we didn't care about that--it was comfortable;; in fact, we booked a room with the kitchen so we could do breakfast and lunch in-house and were surprised how spacious the set-up was. Our one complaint was that the kitchen was very sparsely furnished with exactly two glasses in two sizes, two knives and forks, two very small mugs etc., but there was a dishwasher and we made it work. We will definitely go back."

"Interesting, beautiful place right downtown "

"Lovely property right on the doorstep of Old Montreal. The check in process was smooth- they had our room ready earlier than the expected check in time. We stayed in the studio with queen bed. Spacious for 2 people with a fully equipped kitchen, dining table and chairs, couch, Roku tv and queen sized bed. The bathroom was also spacious with a large shower with both rainfall and handheld shower heads- good water pressure and lots of hot water. There was also a washer and dryer in the studio. Very quiet location, hardly any street noise and the hotel itself was almost silent. The location is great for seeing the sights in Montreal. Close to the Old Montreal area and Old Port as well as close to walk to the downtown core of St Catherine street. We enjoyed our weekend getaway and would recommend this as a place to stay in Montreal."

"Customer service is non-existent, if you stay two days you will not have room service and the towels are old, small insufficient... suggestion not to walk barefoot, since the floor of the room is unhygienic.... if you stay two days, they only leave you coffee for one day... they do not give you water and sell it.... "The roof top pool of course, was absolutely stunning. If you’re coming to the area I’d recommend booking this hotel for at least a portion of your stay, simply to enjoy the pool and the view. The staff were kind, professional and attentive, the rooms were clean and modern. The bed was comfortable and the view we had - river and Old Montreal facing - was stunning. We booked this hotel as well as another hotel for our trip, and I feel we enjoyed the trip more for having booked two separate spaces. For the two night stay, this was lovely. "
