"This is a very nice, well-kept property. The room was very nice, and the staff were very accommodating to our needs. There are potentially a lot of steps up and down on the property to get to one's room, so handicapped persons might experience some difficulty. The immediate area around the hotel is quiet, so moving one's car to load and unload luggage wasn't a problem, but the parking lot is small and down the hill from the hotel. The restaurant on site was very nice and the food was good."

We arrived late (2330) and were welcomed with a smile, which was so satisfying that we booked a caring establishment. This was indeed true. Every member of staff met our, and we are sure would meet yours too if you book this hotel. Location is very good, central for buses, shops, restaurants (some do not open on Sunday or Monday) a supermarket, car parking. Nothing was too much trouble. If you come to Caen, stay here.

Existing reviews have said it all-the condition of the property both in side and out, the grounds, staff and owners are simply exceptional. The chateau is located in a very quiet area providing the most peaceful of settings. Only a 20 minute drive from the ferry port at Caen and near to all the historic beaches, museums, cemeteries making it a more than ideal location. The owners are rightly proud of their hard work to restore the magnificent building, it is beautiful. Plans are imminent for...

Enjoyed staying in a chateau in town. Charles the owner was very welcoming and gave us a tour around his home. If you want to stay in a modern hotel with all the amenities this is probably not the place for you. But if you want charecter and personal service you will not regret it. Breakfast in front of the log fire surrounded by artwork overlooking the park from your 18th century drawing room was an experience we will always remember.
