1/5 Terrible
Not to be repeated, ever.
"This place shouldn't really be classified as a hotel, it's old and decrepit, the reception when we arrived was inaccessible, we weren't given any information by email on how to access it and the lady who eventually opened the door only spoke French so we interpreted various codes to access the lift, the front door and the room. The furnishings are anything from 20-40 years old, the room was beyond basic with no air conditioning and upon leaving the window open to be able to sleep all we could hear all night long was the TV from the vitual restaurant downstairs (3 floors down) that is open for people to pay minimum €10 for microwave meals that you heat and eat yourself. There is no comfort to be had here - I mistakingly believed some of the better reviews but please don't and give this place a wide berth - stay anywhere else. We did find a lovely restaurant within the town which was good for a Sunday evening but the hotel we could have done without. Just to say even access to the pool is strange, you have to walk out the front door, onto the Main Street, round the corner, past piles of rubble and rubbish and dog mess and through a garden into a pool that we had to Clean ourselves. A strange terrible place."
