"The restaurant is excellent but the hotel part is not finished. There was a narrow, dim hallway to get to the room with wires coming out of the walls and the ceiling. The room was small and spartan. "

"There was nobody on reception when we arrived on reception at approximately 3:30 p.m. We then realised that we had to pick a telephone up on the reception desk that rang somebody. A grumpy lady then came to check us in. The restaurant staff were lovely and helpful and the gentleman we paid was very helpful. The hotel is old and needs freshening up. It looks dirty and run down on the landings"

"Nous avons passé un excellent séjour à La Brocherie. Le lieu est calme, plein de charme, avec un spa complet (piscine chauffée, sauna, fauteuil massant) parfait pour se détendre. Tout était propre et très bien entretenu. Un grand merci à Céline pour son accueil chaleureux et sa gentillesse. On se sent tout de suite à l’aise. Le petit-déjeuner était délicieux et en partie fait maison. Une adresse à recommander sans hésiter !"

"The staff were lovely but the condition of the 1st floor was horrible. It smelled of urine & cigarettes. The room looked clean but the smell was horrible & the door had no safety locks. I slept in my clothes & changed to shower & add fresh clothes before leaving. My 13 year old grandson asked if it was a hostel. I paid for 2 nights but we did not return & got a room in another place. "

"The hotel has good facilitiesfor a budget level, gym, bar, restaurant, games and lounge. Staff were very pleasant. We didnt expext the restaurant to be open but as they had a group booking they let us eat too. We didnt like the fact that they allow and encourage smoking in the stairwells or that thete is major building work ongoing that starts early in the morning."
