I booked this hotel expecting basic amenities, especially a hot shower and a comfortable night’s sleep. Unfortunately, there was no hot water during my stay, making it impossible to shower. This completely defeated one of the main reasons I booked the hotel. I informed the front desk, but the issue was not resolved in a timely manner, and there was no compensation offered. A functioning hot water system is a basic expectation for any hotel, and not having it significantly impacted my stay.

We had a pleasant two-night stay. The breakfast buffet is absolutely wonderful! Fresh bread, fruit, cheeses, yogurt with many options of toppings … We liked having the coffee machine available at all times in the lobby as well as cold water to refill our bottles. The beds were very comfortable. Bring your own hair wash. Staff was pleasant and helpful. The location is perfect - lots of restaurants around and very close to the water and all the sights we were wanting to see by foot.

Location! Location! Location! Directly between Zurich HB train station and bus station. Perfect for day trips/tours. Excellent food right next door. Lots of shopping under the train station with more food options. Hotel staff is very friendly, welcoming, and helpful! Hotel is clean and quiet. Great stay!
