"Walked in and it was a bit confusing on where to go, and who to go to around check-in. The front desk staff were okay as far as being friendly/approachable. During breakfast times, the service staff in the restaurant were amazing. Everyone from the bussers/porters, to the guys on the line cooking omelettes to order - they were all incredibly friendly and made the stay that much more pleasant. The room was clean, the amenities were average. The housekeeping staff was very helpful and caring as well. The pool was nice. A bit of a loud area, but nice to have access to. Our kids loved it. We stayed in room 217. At night, there is what seemed to be a decorative flood light outside of our room that was pointing directly into our room. So we had to do a few things to make sure the room stayed dark while everyone was sleeping. The stay, overall, was very pleasant. The location was great, too. "

"I lived and worked Sacramento for 30 yrs - downtown has turned to garbage.. the Delta keeps the homeless away, the restaurants and bar - top notch.. don’t expect a 800 sq ft hotel room.. love every thing about the king. "
