Within 10 minutes walk of most shopping and eating - quiet neighborhood with breakfast options nearby. Parking is an extra fee and a little cumbersome to use.

Nice hotel for overnight stay in nice city Saarbrucken We were advised to park in the street but better is to pay 10euro for hotel parking avoiding yoi have to monitor meter. Reception lady very helpful and kind.Rooms bit small but clean and comfortable Restaurants walking distance and shopping centre.Breakfast great.

Never stayed at a Ibis Hotel. Before my arrival at first I was sceptical and then I quickly changed my mind. It was clean, verything new. The breakfast was perfect, not a very big buffet, but perfect. It has all I love, bacon, eggs,... Not all hotels have this.

The receptionist is superb.
The hotel is well located. The receptionist is superb. A full account of the hotel is not possible as its currently under refurbishment. The refurbishments didn't however disturb my stay. I would definitely stay again if there on business

Hotel was ok and location good but we were a bit disappointed by the fact that the pretty recently bathroom renovation gave as result a leaking shower You can try your best the bathroom floor is full of water The glass doors are not leakproof And we found the bed mattresses too hard for our liking Other than that the hotel was ok

Great for a one night stay
Very handy for a one night stay . Good Mexican restaurant next door . Easy to walk into town where there are various restaurants . Clean with a powerful shower . We stayed on a Sunday and the parking was free outside the hotel til 8 am next morning. All in all good value for money .

Great location if you need to be in Saarbruecken for a really good price. The rooms are comfortable enough and the staff are helpful when asked.

Basic but cheap hotel, 10 mins walk to centre of Saarbrucken. Hotel rooms basic but clean and hotel perfect for our one night stay. Quiet location. Wifi.

Easy check in, hotel staff is friendly, helpful and speaks English. Elevator is small and up half a flight of stairs.

You get what you pay for
Cramped, hot room (no A/C) with barely enough space to move around. Noisy because of nearby church bells ringing every quarter hour from early morning to 10 pm. You have to lug your bags up a flight of stairs just to get to the lift. Overpriced breakfast buffet at 11E per person.

Basic but acceptable
An overnight stop-over so wanted nothing special. No restaurant and no in-room coffee/tea . . the only option was to buy tea or coffee at the reception desk. Adjacent Mexican restaurant good value and convenient.

Perfect Value
It's not as close to the train station as most Ibis' are, but its only a ten minute walk. Perfect value, nice room, and right next to a very good Mexican restaurant (tough to find in Germany!)

Very good value for money
We stayed, 2 adults, 1 toddler. Three beds in a very spacious, clean room. Breakfast was 10 euros a head but it was very good, well worth it, especially as they didn't charge us for the toddler. Only one problem with the room - the shower was rubbish, which didn't make sense as it was connected to the taps, and the flow coming out of the tap was fine. A blockage perhaps? Shame, because otherwise I wouldn't be able to find any fault with this hotel at all. Very good.

Not Somewhere I'd Stay Again
The receptionist were not very friendly upon our arrival and the room stunk like crazy. It was not in a very nice part of the city so we didn't feel comfortable going out at night. The one great thing was the mexican restaurant next door!

When I checked in, bathroom towels were missing. I had booked the room thru Hotels.com by paying full amount. When I checked out, the reception wanted full payment. I showed print out from Hotels.com but they did not agree. I showed them in clear writing on print out: Full payment made" I then talked to manager. It took them 30 mins. to find out that payment was made.

The hotel offered clean and comfortable rooms, with plenty of space. The room looked out onto the town and hills beyond and was quiet. On the opposite side, the hotel overlooked a park. The breakfast, although a little pricey, was plentiful, offering a good variety of food and piping hot drinks. The staff were friendly and polite and did their utmost to help. (including changing languages to accommodate my somewhat rusty German!) The hotel offered a parking area, reasonably priced, which we took advantage of. The hotel is situated only a few minutes walk from the river, castle, churches and town and is an ideal base if you like to explore your surroundings. A very pleasant and comfortable stay in a beautiful city.

Sehr nettes und zuvorkommendes Personal. Günstig gelegen und in 10 Minuten zu Fuß in das Stadtzentrum. Ruhige Lage, etwas hellhörige Zimmer. Sehr gutes und reichhaltiges Frühstücksbuffet.

Das Hotel war für einen Kurzaufenthalt in Ordnung, aber nur 2 Duschtücher, kein Handtuch. Die Betten waren sehr unbequem und nur 1 flaches Kissen. Die Zufahrt zum Hoteleigenen Parkplatz ist sehr, sehr eng und mit 11€ pro Nacht überteuert.
