"Quite disappointing for a Mercure - more like an Ibis-standard hotel. Room was very basic - vinyl flooring, average bed and there was no fridge or air-conditioning, even though this had been advertised. The restaurant was not available in the evening (they seemed to have a small function on) but we were teased by the fact that delegates seemed to be enjoying a delicious meal whilst we had to visit a local supermarket to get some bread and cheese to eat by the pool. "I am travelling continously due to my work and come here hoping to sleep well and to relax. Now, i could not resist but to stay yet another night as a private weekend stay, as i slept so well. This is absolutely a perfect choice for anyone wanting a very quiet location but still in few minutes walking distance from the Saabrücken altstadt pedestrian. (800m to Sankt Johann when using the nearest path & pedestrian bridge.) I liked swimming pool and the wellness area where to relax and i felt lucky...
