"El Somni was everything we hoped it would be; great location with access to the beach but also conveniently located near to other towns and places of interest. Great walks into the nearby hills and car hire onsite made exploration very easy. Great staff, (especially the massage team) who were keen to help with any enquiry. Nearby restaurant the Boat House was well worth a visit, otherwise evening options are limited. For a relaxing spot with great access to the rest of the island this place is hard to beat. "

"The staff are so lovely and happy, they make the hotel a pleasure to visit. Excellent food choices and quality is superb. We love that it is small enough to feel friendly and intimate, but large enough to feel lively and has access to a brilliant beach for safe swimming and small bars along the boardwalk. Truly comfortable and spotlessly clean. Our 2nd visit and definitely not our last, I’m sure."

"Had a great stay at CSM at the beginning of October. Room was compact but had a lovely sea view. Bed was firm and comfortable, excellent shower. Room cleaned every day and two complimentary bottles of water left daily. Corridor had a very musty smell (Rm 624) but this did not permeate into the room. Buffet breakfast was excellent, lots of choice, hot or cold and great quality. Restaurant (La Savina) was really nice too but there was a good choice of restaurants just outside of the resort which we also used. Staff were great, friendly, helpful, efficient. It rained very heavily over our last couple of days and several places had buckets out for drips, towels to mop up areas but the staff handled it really well, lots of umbrellas to hand. Lots of nice decorous touches around the hotel - pictures, wall hangings, cushions, wooden side tables - so, although the hotel isn't in the first bloom of youth, it still felt modern and looked after. Excellent location, would recommend and return"

"Wonderful from start to finish. Attention to detail was impressive, pretty looking hotel, tremendous service, fantastic management (Tania Fernandez), great food selection, lovely location, staff were helpful (Scott and others), polite and happy. The Barcelo Portinatx is the last hotel at the end, by a beautiful cove and tranquil beach very close by with the charismatic Carlos, who will provide music, cocktails, sunbeds and shade. Plenty of restaurants serving tasty food nearby. The Barcelo Portinatx has a chilled and cool vibe - great for adults. Complimentary drinks and an unexpected bottle of Cava and chocolates on arrival for our wedding anniversary. Above all else the friendly staff, led by Tania, made our holiday at Barcelo Portinatx a complete joy. Two lovely pools and pool bar serving great food and cocktails is heaven. Again the staff were excellent, very attentive and lovely. The rooms are spacious for two persons, lovely shower and very comfy bed and sea views were lovely. Everything you need in a room. Cleaning and replenishment of room towels etc was excellent. Lovely bar and bar staff with entertainment in the evenings and health events in the mornings. Wellness treatments and an outside gym are available. Really cannot fault anything. We came just at the end of Sept and Portinatx was quiet and chilled. Perfect for us and we would come back in a heartbeat. Lots to do outside of the hotel too. The hippie market in the chic San Joan De Labritja is close by and easy"
