"Complimentary breakfast was great. The waffles were amazing. Room was great. No vending machines on floors however. We needed to go to the lobby for a couple drinks. Which of course were ridiculously overpriced. That was the only complaint of our short stay. ($3 bottle of water, $4 for a can of ginger ale) "

"Overall, very good stay. Friendly and helpful staff, decent (usually empty) swimming pool, fairly good breakfast options. Be aware that they take a pending payment (in my case $600) upon checking in, which seems unnecessary (I'd paid for the entire stay in advance) and came as a shock (there is a sign about this but the person who checked me in didn't mention anything)."

"I booked this hotel 5 months before my trip through Expedia, and paid in advance. I showed up, and they were renovating, and informed me that they were putting us in their sister hotel right next door. Fine with me, I walked over, checked in, thought that was that. The next morning, the manager informed me I owed $69. I showed him my receipt, but he kept insisting that Expedia just put a hold on my money but didn't actually charge me. I kept showing him the word "paid" and telling him that made no sense, but he kept telling me I hadn't paid. I called Expedia to confirm payment, and they told me to call someone completely different who wasn't even there. Meanwhile the manager finally did some digging of his own and discovered the other building had charged me a no show fee!!! First of all, I have NEVER heard of a hotel doing that...if people don't show thats just less work for them, right? Second, and far more obvious is that I clearly DID show up, and they were the ones who moved me. I got it all dealt with eventually, but I definitely did not feel heard by either this manager or Expedia."
