Top Rush Hotel Reviews

citizenM Dublin St. Patrick's
10/10 Excellent
"We were surprised at how much we liked this hotel, having feared it might be a bit too “hip” for people over sixty. Upon arrival, we were immediately greeted by JP. His sincere and gracious welcome set our fears at ease, and he happily explained how to check in, use the iPad in the room to control the lights, AC, shades, etc. We were early, but he allowed us to check in early, which was wonderful. When my husband’s CPAP machine could not reach the outlet nearest the bed, JP went out of his way to find us an extension cord. Other staff members. Kiffy, Isabelle, Victoria and Alexandra, were similarly welcoming, friendly and helpful. I have traveled a great deal, and this hotel had the nicest, friendliest staff I’ve ever encountered. Yes, the room was extremely small, but we followed another reviewer’s advice and made the bed up with the pillows against the window. This allows both people to get in and out of bed without climbing over the other one. Some reviewers had mentioned they didn’t like the glass doors around the toilet and shower. They are completely opaque and you cannot see through them, so we did not find this to be a problem at all. Breakfast was delicious and you can pay à la carte rather than pay for a full buffet. (I did find it disappointing that the hotel only offered English breakfast tea for black tea, and not Irish breakfast tea!) The hotel music was initially much louder than we prefer, but was turned down the next day. We highly recommend CitizenM!"

Maldron Hotel Dublin Airport
8/10 Good
"We stayed here one night for our return to the USA. For that purpose the location and shuttle to and from the Dublin airport were fantastic. They offer a great shuttle service, and we didn't know it at the time, it was only a short walk to the Terminal 2 at the airport. Next time we'll just walk. This hotel has a lot going for it with the location to fly out, the shuttle, the room was clean but felt a bit small, the breakfast was wonderful, and they have a very nice bar/lounge."

Point A Dublin Parnell Street

"Excellent location, clean rooms, friendly and helpful staff. Love that it has airconditioning and a lift. Not too crazy about their breakfast but there are convenient eating places around. Lidle and Tesco supermarket are literally a few steps away."

Hilton Garden Inn Dublin City Centre

"Great place. Super friendly and helpful staff. Will definitely be back!"

Marlin Hotel Stephens Green
10/10 Excellent
"Hotel was lovely. Very welcoming and staff all friendly. My husband has a soy intolerance and this was clearly labelled on the menu so made it very easy for him to know what he could eat. He was able to have a full Irish breakfast with sourdough bread which was great as usually he can struggle to have a breakfast due to soy being in it. Breakfast was lovely and a good selection of hot and cold foods. We staying in a Cosy King room which was fine for the 2 of us and staff welcomed us with a plate saying Happy Birthday with cake and fruit which we appreciated as a lovely touch. Location of hotel was great. Just a short walk to shops and public transport. WiFi was fine, we had no issues connecting and using it. Improvements - There was some wear and tear to the framework of the bed in the room that needing addressing. Self check-in system a great idea however needs to be quicker. Took a while to complete as had to input my home address which didn’t understand as would have been on the original booking and there were other repetitive questions. Would be easier just to ask for DOB, surname and date of stay. Or maybe if it’s for security reasons have an email sent with a unique code. These are only minor improvements it is a great hotel and we had a lovely time exploring Dublin."

Temple Bar Hotel Dublin by The Unlimited Collection
8/10 Good
"Nice rooms, helpful staff and a nice lobby. Beds were very comfy and good air conditioning. No nightstand or outlets on one side of the bed, which was pretty inconvenient. Location is right in the middle of Temple Bar so be warned that rooms facing the street are noisy at night."

Dublin One Hotel

"Check in was easy and effortless. All of the staff was friendly! The restaurant/bar had a good selection of food and drinks. Room was clean and the AC worked well. Would definitely stay here again! "
