"The hotel is situated at the end of a road and is in a very quiet location. We parked at the bottom of a hill and had to hike up to the hotel with our bags (good for your fitness!). You could drive up closer to the entrance if needed.
We had been sent an email with a code to get our key out of a lockbox at the entrance, but completely forgot about this when we arrived. Tobias greeted us and gave us our key. He also explained about the drinks and food area. Drinks are taken based on an honesty...

"I arrived on a Monday but was disappointed to learn the restaurant was shut. Had to drive back into Düren for food. Germany doesn't seem to like Mondays! Hotel is good, if not slightly tired, but very clean and I slept well. My Monday evening disappointment was short lived following a very welcoming and wonderful breakfast. Very nice staff."

"I loved staying here! The room was very clean and the bed was comfortable. The owner was very friendly. We had breakfast at the hotel. The owner provided lots of different options for breakfast and it was very delicious. "

The welcome area has stocked drinks and wines you make make use of with an easy system to relay back what you have selected to add to your bill. Staff are amazing and extremely nice.
