"Perfect for what we needed - a stop on the way back to Dieppe for the ferry. Brand new and spotless. Excellent facilities in the room including fridge freezer and microwave. Very comfortable beds! Not in a particularly appealing area - building site on the side of a link road - but it was easy to get to, and back onto the road in the morning. Around 20 minute walk to the centre of Rouen. Would stay again on the way to or from the port."

"We had a really bad experience at Mercure Rouen Centre Cathedrale. The service in the restaurant was among the worst we have seen in all our life. In the end when paying the bill the guy had the cheek to ask us we wanted to sign a separate bill for the tip as he could not add the tip to the main bill! We firmly and politely said no. That experience just ruined our whole stay and we cannot give any better marks than what we have done. We would appreciate it if the hotel could reply and include an e-mail address to a manager to whom we can send a more detailed feedback of our experience."
