Nice hotel, great location. My only complaint is no air conditioning. They did have a stand up fan in the room that worked fine.

The propert was in a great location but there are no bad locations in the old town. You can walk anywhere in a few minutes. I did not like that they clean the room only every 2 days and the buffet is nice but expensive. It wasnt work 17.50€.

I upgraded to a room in the main bldg & had a great view with a balcony. The room was big, the bed comfortable & the beautiful view out to the south. The staff was very accommodating. The 2 minor negatives for me was the dinner menu didn’t have the German fare I was hoping for (that said, the rump steak was delicious!) & breakfast was not up to the par of most nice hotels I've stayed at in Germany. They didn’t even have the wonderful pastries I love in this country. But there are plenty of options for dinner & breakfast very close to the hotel.

The location was perfect and thing at our balcony went to the Meadows and part of the mediaeval town was absolutely breathtaking. The staff were so accommodating and friendly.

We absolutely loved this hotel! It was the perfect location in Rothenburg on der tauber and it seemed liked every turn we ended up back near the hotel where we could stop in and take a break from all the walking and exploring that the town has to offer

This hotel is in the center of Old town medieval Rothenburg ob der Tauber. I have been at this same hotel during Christmas markets and in the fall and will go back again. A full hot breakfast and restaurant in the hotel. A vintage hotel that is unique in every room. Many other restaurants and shopping within in ten minutes of walking. Front desk clerk remembered me in the three times I have been there in also two years.

This was a wonderful stay with a fantastic staff, restaurant, and atmosphere. The only, and literally only, room for improvement would be the bedsheets. They were a bit scratchy and not very soft, but simply replacing them with better sheets would make this 5 stars all around! Everything else was perfect. Great bathroom, as well.

Amazing gem in Bavaria!
I did a 4-city stay when in Germany and hands down, this was my absolute favorite property! The location can't be beat. The room was tremendous (especially for Europe) and in pristine condition. They had these oversized ancient looking key rings for the room key which added to the charm. Bathroom was modern. Everything was immaculate. Can't say enough good things about this hotel.

The hotel is very unique and gives you a feeling of old time authenticity. The parking is 300 meters away from the property and only costs 12 Euros. Rooms are spacious, older, but very clean. It is situated right in the center of town, which makes the overall experience more enjoyable. The Eisenhut is definitely a hotel worth staying at!

With Hotel Eisenhut you are staying in a historical property right in the heart of the walled city. All of the rooms were well appointed, the staff was so helpful, and everything was within walking distance. It was a little tricky too find, although the Waze app was spot on.

We had the most amazing room! Located in a very old building, our room was large with huge windows and a very large wardrobe and the most amazing wood ceiling. The bathroom was modern and updated . The bedding was great and the view perfect. We really enjoyed our stay.
