"Cannot fault the hotel which was as expected. Staff we met were polite and helpful. Facilities were fine but not fully utilised as we were only there for 1 night prior to catching ferry. Breakfast ok in clean functional dining area."

"This is a bike-friendly hotel with a dedicated room inside the hotel. No security worries for the bike. I had a very nice view of the river and the room was ideal for a 1-night stay. Breakfast buffet was good. Staff were friendly and helpful. I really liked the coffee machine in the room too. Nice touch."

"The hotel is modern and appealing. The staff was very considerate waiting for my late arrival from the ferry. I recommend booking a taxi before your arrival as taxis are difficult to get at the ferry."

"Staff were really helpful and friendly when we arrived. A very personal service which was great after a long drive from south of France. Parking was easy - though it is recommended to ask them to reserve a parking spot before you arrive. We had a family room which had lots of space and a really nice big bathroom with a great shower. Downsides are that there is a parking charge, the bar closes at 9pm and there is no restaurant if you get there later. Good idea to book a local restaurant in advance as they are limited and the town seemed busy. Hotel is only 2 or 3 minute walk from centre of town and the restaurants. We didn't have breakfast as we had an early ferry, so con't comment on that. Would we stay there again? Absolutely!"
