The church itself is decommissioned, but continues to host concerts. Being from the United States, opportunities to be surrounded by such history do not exist. "Great stopover, close to main road, easy to find, plenty of parking. Restaurant good quality food and wine at very reasonable prices. Room basic but immaculate with modern bathroom. Only downside no air con, on a very hot night a bit warm."
