"It was our 1st time in Aix-en-Provence, and we didn't know what to expect regarding the city and moving around. We searched for a clean place with a kitchenette and parking facilities, so we could drive to different places. This hotel is not centric to the city, as it would take about 10-15 minutes driving by some backroads to get to the center of Aix and then finding a parking garage nearby. Rooms are kind of small. There is not an elevator, so the luggage has to be lifted through the stairs....

"Good news: the property and surrounding setting is beautiful. Your accommodation is a small apartment rather than a hotel room. The bedroom is separate. If, like us, you wanted to visit several spots in western Provence without changing rooms, this did serve us well. But be aware that everyplace from Aix-en-Provence to Avignon is 30 to 50 km away. "The shuttle service to the airport was convient. We stayed here our last night in France after a 3 week trip. We checked in, turned in our rental car, took the shuttle back to the hotel and then got the shuttle for an early morning flight. The restaurant was just what we needed serving quality food and wine. The room and especially the bed was comfortable. The amenity products are Crabtree and Evelyn. Mmmm soo good. "
