"I booked a single queen room that Expedia says sleeps 3 meaning that they should have a sofa bed in the room. When we went in the room it only has a single queen but nothing else. The hotel says our accessible rooms are single queens only. So my only choice was to change rooms to a non-accessible double queen plus pay an $20.00 for the room."
"Everything was great. The room was really clean and I am pretty particular. My room had a decent sized refrigerator which came in handy. The fitness room was decent as well."
"The mattress was terrible! I could feel and hear the springs in the mattress. It was very crunchy and lumpy. I believe the carpeted flooring next to the bed would've been a better place to sleep. I don't usually give reviews, but this time I felt the need to. I wish breakfast were something they offered. It is not advertised, so I didn't expect it. The main issue was the bed. Everything else was okay for us."
"Good option in town if you want to have restaurant access on-site. Felt dated, but they want to keep it old-world style. Climate control was not great, but had a big room, tall ceilings and lots of light."
"My room was clean and the Breakfast was nice. The staff was very friendly. The only downside was the thermostat in the room wasn't working. We set the thermostat at 68* and it wouldn't go below 72* maybe if there was a fan in the room that could of helped, but there wasn't and it was pretty warm to sleep. "
"Recommended as a good value for the cost. I had stayed here a handful of times from '24 to '25. It struck me then as a property with real potential that was not realized. I came back recently for several nights in three different rooms recently and can report that it's getting better.
The good parts: 1) spacious rooms, especially if you go one level up in category from the lowest price. 2) the price is extremely reasonable, often being the cheapest in the region, excluding the obvious dumps. And 3) the pool is very nice in summer. Many families were enjoying it, and I did too!
There are still issues, many of which are common with budget hotels, even good ones. It is not spotless, with lightly cleaned floors, and some scruffiness around the property. Second, I do have to agree with some previous posters that the air-conditioning can be spotty. Two of the three rooms I had could barely be cooled below 72 degrees. People who like their temps frosty should be wary. Altho one of my rooms did not have that problem at all. Finally, some may not like the area -- it's safe but not very nice. A busy four lane right in front adds to noise and pollution so it is not very walkable. The flip side is that there are many food options nearby. FYI many room descriptions online don't mention a microwave and fridge, but all three of my rooms had them.
All in all, I'd say it's a solid value. Maybe pay a couple dollars extra and avoid the cheapest rooms, and you should be happy with it!"
"Overall, hotel was clean. After about a day TN got some serious rain, not sure if it contributed to the room issues we had afterwards or what, but there was serious mildew smells from the bathroom. Throughout the night it would smell like cat pee. There were some ants around the sink that weren’t there before, and some other bugs. Other things I noticed was the bathtub faucet was not caulked, so you had to hold onto it when switching it from bath to shower. The main door was not even, and the toilet paper holder looked like it was coming out of the wall. Over all noise was pretty minimal. Location was convenient. Bed was clean, but was a spring mattress, and it must have been broken because sometimes it made a noise like there was something wrong with the spring. For 4 days it was nice, but I wouldn’t want to stay there a week."
