The staff was nice. The hotel looks clean when you walk in. The rooms were not. There was water on the floor in the first room so we had to move rooms. Then the tv didn't work. We were to tired to move rooms. I will not stay here again. Breakfast was plain, even on Saturdays.

Breakfast was minimal, would have been ok if they had real butter ☹️. Restrooms were out of order in the lobby. Good thing we didn’t have to go after breakfast!! Room was clean and comfortable. Definitely needs a new couch!

The property wasn’t bad as I thought. The top floor rooms needs upgrading but if you are lucky to get a room on the first floor it’s better. Traveling with small babies I had to get an updated room. As much as you tell Children to crawl on floor they still will. One person that stood out well two was Hope at the front desk she was polite understanding and was able to accommodate us when I asked to switch rooms. She was very compassionate and patient. Sheryl I think that was her name in the kitchen who helped with breakfast was also very nice and willing to Help. All in all in a lil town or city like Tarboro this property is better than the rest in the area. Unless you want to travel to Rocky Mount.

Affordable, clean, and very safe location close to everything. The rooms were very clean and the hotel is so cozy and unique. It looks like a big mansion inside with the nice balcony so it gives it a very homey/cozy feel. I am returning to this hotel every single time I’m back in tarboro

Very welcoming and polite staff. But the rest was a disappointment. Meager breakfast. No blankets on the beds and had I to go fetch them from the front desk myself because they are short staffed. The halls and room need a serious up lift and they shouldn’t charge that much in Tarboro for a less than quality stay.

Curtains were dirty, bed lining was dirty we brought our own lining to sleep with thank god we did! Bath tub was dirty. I had to disinfectant everything and clean the tub so we could shower.. staff was nice

Location is convenient for our family visits. Price is good. Basically, we just need a place to sleep. There is a bit of an odor in the hallways and the room. They do actually allow smoking in some of the rooms so it doesn’t stay contained in just those rooms. We now carry Fabreeze fabric and spray the room down when we arrive and leave to visit with family. When we return there is a big difference. But, as I said, we only need a place to sleep so it works for us.
