"Very charming B&B in a historic Ontario stone farm house. The house has been beautifully restored and modernized. There’s a self contained suite and two other rooms that share a bathroom. For most of my four days I was the only guest. The bed was super comfortable with quality sheets. Breakfast was a delight, not your standard bacon and egg fare, although I’m sure they’d whip that up if you asked. The Stonegate would be perfect for a romantic get away."

Small details seemed not to be maintained, ie: toilet seat was loose, shower head was only half functional, water pressure was really low, bedroom door handle was flimsy and hard to operate..."

"Very-very friendly and attentive staff. A decent quick, simple -almost grab and good- breakfast, which is always a nice to have option when traveling, Loved the new little robotic pancake maker they have now. The room was very clean, the thing against it is the carpet, even when you can see the staff did a good cleaning it, it still made the room smell very musty, I wish the rooms were renovated and floors changet to modern ceramic tiles which is now the trend and more hygienic. The bed mattress was amazing, but the rest of the furniture has also seen way better days. Yes. It needs some renovations and it will become a place with 5 stars rateting soon."
