"We couldn't get the wifi working after much trying. There was only basic cable, 12 channels, on fairly old TV. One of the pillowcases was stained. The room smelled of deoderizer. Very basic lodgings. Decent location thougg, and friendly staff."

"Everytime I stay, either the gym or hot tub are closed. Once, both.... Its frustrating because you dont find out until you get there and I spend more money to stay here to enjoy these amenities."

"I have stayed at this property for 20 or more years and it has declined significantly in the past two years. I think it needs a full update of decor and infrastructure. It’s unfortunate as it is so well located to the center of south bend. The floor of my room was fake wood that left my bare feet dirty whenever I walked in it. There was a seriously stained toilet bowl, or it was allowed to sit and not cleaned properly. TV was a mess with two remotes and no logical way to use them. I had to call for help twice and almost a third time. The lighting in the room was very dark. Even with the drapes open."

"Great hotel! Room was spacious and clean, bed was very comfy. Plenty of restaurants nearby, eve a Whole Foods across the street! I would definitely stay again."

"The bath tub had mold. There was a bed not made ie someone was still there, as well as a mountain dew almost full. The kitchen sink was unusable, as it sprayed all over. I slept on the couch, not folded out. It had a oil stain on it. I covered it with a freshly washed comforter."

"The breakfast was less than mediocre. The eggs were dry as were the sausage patties. Frankly, I was disappointed, and I promise that my expectations are not sky high."

"The place is old and needs more maintenance but the people at the front desk are great. They have breakfast included and coffee all day. Great for a short visit, in and out. They have every other day room service. If you need fresh towels just ask for them"
