This resort was beautiful and the staff was friendly and service was beyond appreciated I will recommend this resort to anyone looking to get away & have a relaxing time
The property was absolutely amazing!! We were able to snorkel and even scuba dive directly from the resort! Food was great, staff was wonderful!! Few minor things could be upgraded and made this place even better, like the hammocks in the water that they advertise. But all in all, absolutely amazing!!!

The resort has great potential. If you want a quiet place to get away it's perfect. It's very safe. Bring your own toiletries. The staff are so nice. The activities team are really fun, they try to keep everyone engaged. They dance and have karaoke. They jumped in the pool to play volleyball with my husband then other people joined in. It was great. The food can definitely use an upgrade. They made it up to us on Friday and Saturday. The menu was great. They need to have things like that everyday. They made a special dinner for us and it was fantastic. Everyone was really really nice. Very respectful.
Although the hotel is showing some age, the staff and the surrounding natural beauty are nothing short of fabulous. The rooms/cabanas are neat and clean, the dining and bar area is great and the staff is so friendly and welcoming. We can’t wait to return and have recommended this property to everyone.
Staff was amazing, beach could use some work and as da as amenities there are non, it’s to far out from anything but they have someone who is great at providing options for tours and experiences on the island.

The staff were amazing!
The local activities were relaxing. Excursions were easy and affordable.
My new favorite location
Very quiet, out of the way place to relax by the beach or pool. Plenty of places to sit. It’s about a hour away from West End, the main tourist area.
Food was ok. We were there for a week and so it got little monotonous but overall it was a good place to stay.
EVERYTHING was very clean, including the rooms, pool decks, pool chairs, beach chairs, dining tables, etc. The staff did a great job keeping everything clean! All staff was kind, helpful, and fun! Drinks from the bar were also delicious and all completely included the price (no drink maximum/limit).
It's a hidden gem, if you like your vacations to be extra relax and quiet, this is the place! The staff is amazing! they do nightly activities ( trivia, karaoke, dancing, disco) and they are great, gets you involved and moving. Also, if you are an outgoing person and like to chat, you will make lots of acquaintances along the way. The food was good, I would say dinners were my favorite. They do have snack time but they are strict and stay on a timely schedule - so food its not available 24 / 7. Bartenders are very friendly as well.
If you want incredible scuba diving with the on site dive shop run by Turquoise Divers you can do boat and shore dives on spectacular walls and reefs.
Although a bit remote on a quiet part of the island, it is very secure and they offer all sorts of excursions by boat and bus.
There is a calm cove for swimming and snorkeling, nice pools and very family friendly.
Food is fine and the drinks are cold. Entertainment nightly, although it can be cheezy but fun!
They do offer very reasonable airport transportation.
One of the best priced all-inclusives on the island, with awesome diving!!!
Hotel is dated but definitely clean, and well kept. Staff is helpful and provided good customer service. The beach needs to be cleaned, too much seaweed and many rocks, no able to enjoy it. The good options are limited and lacking flavor, the beverage choice is lacking as well. Hotel is located a bit remotely and leaving the facilities will cost you a fortune.
The room was cleaned daily and restocked with fresh bottled water. There were a few stand-out servers: Gektor and Andy specifically. Everyone was friendly and accommodating, from the security staff to the entertainment staff to the hotel staff. We were welcomed as if we had come “home”.
Likes:
- Most of the staff was very good to work with
- Restaurant and bar staff were extremely helpful
- Beautiful Caribbean view
- Very clean pool
- Well maintained property
- Amazing Piña Coladas
Neutral:
- Food was hit and miss
Dislikes:
- Room location very far from main area
- Hard to walk on the beach. Very rocky.
- Water hammocks weren’t available
- Internet in room was spotty
- Mattress was slanted upward at the bottom and too soft
- Pillows too soft
Absolutely — this keeps the important specifics without feeling like a long complaint.
We had a mixed but overall relaxing stay at Media Luna. The rooms were clean, the bed was very comfortable, and the pool area was well maintained. The beach is small, but the snorkeling right off the beach was surprisingly great and one of our favorite things about the resort.
There was plenty of food, but we found it just okay and wished there were more authentic Honduran/Caribbean options. Drinks were basic and served in paper cups that quickly became soggy from condensation. The rooms could also use some simple improvements like hooks in the bathroom and better shower heads. A tree hitting our roof during windy nights was also pretty noisy.
The staff was generally nice, although some seemed a little disengaged, probably because there were hardly any guests during our stay. There isn’t much to do at the resort, and the excursions offered didn’t really interest us. We left the resort three of our six days to explore other parts of Roatán and definitely recommend finding a reliable taxi driver, since the resort only provides transportation to and from the airport.
There were also too many free-roaming cats begging around the dining area.
Overall, it’s a clean, peaceful place with good snorkeling and a nice pool if you’re looking to relax, but don’t expect a lively all-inclusive experience, lots of amenities, or exceptional food and drinks.

The staff was friendly and nice. However, if you don't speak Spanish use a translator app, bc if you need something, it won't get done. The food is only buffet style, and a very small selection 2/10. The property is quiet and relaxing, so if you came to party, this isn't the place for you. My room had big gaps in the door frame, which let the bugs walk right in. Overall the property/rooms were clean, but I wouldn't stay here again.
The staff were friendly and helpful. Rooms were clean and spacious. Bed was very comfortable. The hotel provided a tour free of charge that was fun. They picked us up and we took a tour of some of the island. We were able to get off the small boat and get in the water. Water was nice and warm. My only complaint is there is no food substitutions for the all inclusive buffett. You cannot order anything outside of the food options that are already put out. That includes snacks. What you see is what you get. They had night shows every night presented by their "Animation Team". I liked the music and dancing. Overall, a wonderful experience. Highly recommend!
Beautiful property with a private beach that is tucked away in a sheltered cove. Clean, spacious rooms with excellent wi-fi. Lots of staff and security on-site. Wide variety of foods to choose from at the buffet. Family-friendly.
Arranging airport shuttle was not straightforward.
As a female lone traveler, I felt the staff went above and beyond to make me feel safe and happy. Everyone was so friendly and helpful. I loved my room and the layout of the place.
My only suggestions are that they clean up some to the trash in the water near the beach. When I went snorkeling, I saw a lot of plastics and trash in the shallow water. Also the patio door at my villa was very hard to open and lock.
