Shutters on the Banks
10/10 Excellent
"This was our first family trip to the Outer Banks and Shutters on the Banks was a great place to stay. One of the few hotels that still provides daily room cleaning. This meant we had fresh towels and they even vacuumed. The free breakfast and being on the beach was great to have with kids. The two pools were also a welcome break from the ocean waves at the end of the day. Overall, this was a great location on the beach and close to several restaurants and attractions. We will definitely be back!"

"Staff here is awesome and friendly. Laid back vibe hotel just as advertised. Steps from a beautiful beach, walking distance to good food and a local fishing pier. Pool was clean, rooms were too."

"Clean, spacious and quiet room. Ample free parking. Nice restaurant and Christmas/General Store across the street. Convenient location close to historical areas of Roanoke Island, N Carolina Aquarium, Wright Brothers monument in Kitty Hawk and plenty of shopping and dining options in nearby Nags Head and Kill Devil Hills."

"Very relaxed atmosphere, Breakfast was very good and not crowded. The wifi was not the best."
Island Guesthouse and Motel

"We were in Rm #5 Cozy feel. Needs a wider nightstand. The shower has a powerful blast. I actually don't mind that. However, you can't get it started prior to getting in, so be prepared for the blast! lol Parking is right in front of your door, so safe enough."
