I had the loveliest stay at Hotel Delga. The location is great - everything's walkable; the room was fantastic - clean, spacious, and quiet; the host is lovely - tremendously helpful; and Gaillac itself was serene - you really get to unplug from the bustle that inevitably comes with bigger cities. We'd definitely recommend The Squirrel's Nest. A lovely house and owners. Our room was great, spacious en suite bathroom, air conditioning which with temperatures of 40 degrees outside (canicule), was really appreciated, tea and coffee making facilities on the landing. An easy walk into Gaillac for dinner (bring a torch) and not far from routes to Albi and Toulouse. Charming old village house, stylishly refurbished with a lovely mix of quality new bathrooms and beds and antique furnishings, set in lush, rural rolling countryside with far reaching views. Discrete service, and very accommodating when we had a day of illness and needed to stay in the room all day. Generous fresh breakfast of pastries and cheeses every day.

The hotel was beautiful and very authentic, with lots of original features. The pool was a great facility as it was around 30 degrees when we arrived after a long journey. It was beautifully clean and had stunning views. We were made to feel very welcome and enjoyed a delicious breakfast in the sunny courtyard. A wonderful stay!

We were travelling with a baby and the two reception staff we spoke to during our stay were outstanding and couldn’t do more to help us. Hotel was great - very clean, check in easy and only a 30 min walk to the old town.

A very nice, clean and tidy hotel in the centre of Albi. The staff were great and check out wasn’t until midday. Would definitely recommend.
