This was my first time ever going to Caesar's Palace. It is nothing short of palatial. The Romanesque theme is pervasive and well executed. The building complex is impressive with high mosaic ceilings, lavish gold-accented marble decor, and numerous statues throughout. I stayed in the Colosseum tower. The room was clean and well-maintained with no obvious signs of excessive wear. I really enjoyed my stay. However, I have two things to criticize: 1) Mini-bar items are expensive and on sensors so avoid touching the mini-bar unless you plan on purchasing items from it. 2) As a non-smoker, I found the odor of cigarette smoke on the casino floor to be pervasive and strong.

Smoke smell as soon as you walked in. The valet was helpful. Shower missing a piece so bathroom floor was wet. No shower mat to protect from falling, The sink backed up with an unpleasant chemical odor. The safe did not work. What was good is that housekeeping and security were speedy and efficient at their job. Will not be returning

It was an older property but well maintained and very clean. We would be happy to stay there again!
