"Room was clean. Sofa was old and saggy. No front Desk person during our arrival. Had to call the number provided on their website. Staff sounded irritated by my call, maybe not expecting to work at 3:00PM on a Saturday. Breakfast was good, standard meal breakfast meal. The personnel at the kitchen sounded happy to serve and work!! I thank Ms Mary for accomodating our schedule!!"

"This hotel is showing its age and needs a remodel job. It is hard to make a property in this condition look good and clean. The tf was slow to react if they were even at the front desk in the first place. I had to walk around the desk and yell for someone to address my issue. Breakfast was the same old fake omelets, the orange juice ran out and a new sheet never came after requesting one due to water spillage. The final straw before checking out and moving to a Hampton Inn was the water flow was not even the thickness of a pencil, and the shower did not have enough pressure to work properly. Because we had a carload of luggage and two dogs, the decision to move was difficult. We went ahead and moved o the Hampton Inn next door which made the trip more enjoyable."

"It’s a nice 1840 home. Rooms decorated with antiques and very homey. It’s old so some wear and tear is evident but it’s a beautiful home. Cookies greet you at check in and there is breakfast every morning. Coffee, tea and hot chocolate available 24/7. Everyone is very courteous. Denise was excellent at providing all the information one needs. Convenient to downtown shopping, food and historic district. Also close to the river walk and trails"

"Love that the hotel is beside the Mississippi River. There was a wonderful walking path, across the street, along the river. Also Natchez is just across the bridge. The carpet, in the hotel hallway, was stained and dirty. The carpet in our room had snags and a tear which made the property feel worn and less clean. Many of the guests drove commercial pickups and trucks, with a couple large semi trucks and travel buses taking up much of the parking. Those guests stayed multiple nights. The fitness room was closed due to on going construction inside the hotel. The women's restroom in the lobby was out of order. It is a quiet location, and the hotel staff is very friendly."
