"Our stay was wonderful! We arrived before check in time and were able to store our luggage so that we could start exploring right away. When we came back later in the afternoon the room was ready and luggage was brought to us. The room was clean and well maintained. There were always waters in the mini fridge which was nice. Breakfast had a nice selection of delicious foods. We also had drinks one evening in the little sitting area. The staff is very kind, I heard them giving pointers to several other guests. Check in and check out were quite easy. The location is amazing, close to so many things!"

This property is truly something special—a hidden sanctuary just minutes from the heart of Venice, yet it feels like an entirely private world. From the moment we stepped onto the island, we were surrounded by beauty, history, and tranquility. The grounds are absolutely breathtaking—lush gardens, open spaces, and a sense of calm that is rare to find in Venice. It felt like staying in a private estate rather than a hotel. Our room was elegant, spacious, and thoughtfully appointed, blending classic Venetian charm with modern comfort. Every detail felt intentional and refined. The entire atmosphere of the property is serene, luxurious, and effortlessly sophisticated. One of the highlights was the balance this hotel offers—you can immerse yourself in the energy of Venice during the day, then return to complete peace and relaxation in the evening. That contrast made the experience even more special. The staff were warm, gracious, and attentive, ensuring my birthday celebration felt truly memorable. Every interaction added to the overall feeling of being cared for and valued as a guest. San Clemente Palace is more than a hotel—it’s an experience. For a milestone birthday, I couldn’t have chosen a more beautiful or meaningful place to celebrate. Absolutely unforgettable and worth every moment."

"We had a great stay and thoroughly enjoyed our time here. The rooms were excellent, the pool was fantastic, and the views are absolutely stunning. While the hotel is definitely showing its age in some areas, it remains a unique and memorable property. It was wonderful to escape the crowds and bustle of Venice and relax in this oasis on the Lido. The property itself is very large, which adds to the resort-like atmosphere. However, the gym was underwhelming and not particularly inviting. Food options on-site were also quite limited, especially in the evenings. The bar menu was expensive and underwhelming, and despite advertising 24/7 room service, there were no food options available when we scanned the QR code later at night, looking for something to eat. There is very little to do on the Lido itself, so you'll likely want to spend most of your time exploring Venice. Be sure to make dinner reservations early enough to catch the last hotel shuttle back at 9:00 PM. While taxis are available, they can cost around €100 each way. The staff experience was mixed. Some team members were excellent and welcoming, while others came across as rude and condescending. Overall, despite a few shortcomings, this was an incredible experience. The setting, pool, views, and opportunity to escape the crowds of Venice made for a memorable stay that we would still recommend. Not sure if I would stay here agiain."
