Our room was facing the river with a private balcony and had two double beds with the cleanest sheets I have ever seen in any hotel. Beds were comfortable, staff very accommodating. Silvia was helpful and kind. Will definitely come back next year!

Happy and relaxing 3 days
Room and beds comfortable with fabulous view from balcony room, and sun terrace Tranquil and calm. Hotel organised tours owner to meet us to discuss options and ressonably priced. Minor problems with door key quickly dolved by owner. Breakfast Mexican continental style good and brought to our balcony. Excellent location for buses, trips, restaurants and views! Stayed 3 nights but could have stayed longer as it was so relaxing.

The property was good. The room was clean and the AC work great. The hot water also was good the only thing i would improve is the breakfast we got bread with a Nutella and peanuts butter jar and a coffe that was like water so is not much a breakfast

The property was suitable for a one-night stay. Perhaps due to the onset of winter, the area was quiet, and restaurant options were limited. However, the bathroom had limited or no water supply for a shower. Additionally, we were unable to have a good breakfast because the owner was out in the morning, and the staff had difficulty communicating, even with the use of a translator. Overall, it was a satisfactory stay.

Repos en face du port de Rio Lagartos
Très bel hôtel. Au bord du port, très pratique pour aller ensuite visiter la réserve naturelle. La chambre est grande, lumineuse et climatisé. Le cadre est très joli avec une belle décoration. La sortie étant a 11h, l'hôtel nous a gardé les sacs car notre visite de la réserve naturelle a finit a 11h30. Le petit déjeuner est bon, je recommande.

The refrigerator didn't work and looked like it hadn't for a number of years. (Roger did let us put things in his kitchen refrigerator.) Water leaked out from under the bathroom floor. Breakfast was a banana, a piece of toast and 4 jars of toppings. Two of the jars, the peanut butter and the nutella were filthy. They looked as though they had been handled by hundreds of people who had never washed their hands and that the jars had never been washed. The setting of the property was right across the street from the water, which was very nice.

A PERFECT place to stay
Wonderful from the start to the end.. Roger is a great host The view is amazing The ocean view side patio is wonderful. The property really makes you feel at home and comfotable. We had a front balcony and perfect for the breakfast that Roger would bring up to us every morning. The views and the breeze were caliming.. waking up to the birds singing. Comfotable to leave doors open throughout the night.

Quaint room in a Beautiful location
We had the room with the lagoon view which is beautiful. This is worth the price itself…. The room, clean and comfortable but tired, but be honest… how much did you pay!!?…. Our host was very friendly and helpful, listen to his restaurant recommendations and take a tour… You may see the raccoon in the mangroves and a crocodile too….. The bird life is amazing. Breakfast was lovely each morning 😋😋😋

The hotel is simple, but it is clean, and has a lovely space on the second floor that is open with picnic tables. We played cards while looking at the lake and the beautiful sunset. Than we turned on the string of lights and played cards while looking at the moon reflected on the water. We walked to a gourmet restaurant for dinner and had a pleasant walk on the boardwalk. The breakfast was a little too light for us, because we expected a greater quantity of fruits and coffee. All in all we loved out trip and will stay there next time we go visit Las Coloradas and Rio Lagartos.

Immediately after we booked, Roger, contacted us through Expedia and advised us that there was no Atm and internet was very spotty as for paying for meals, tours etc, so best to bring cash. We also asked Roger about flamingo tours and he arranged a tour for us with Santiago on a boat Captained by Santiago’s son. Highly recommend Santiago and his son

Amazing stay!! The room was spacious and clean, the shower was great, and the hangout spaces on the balcony and downstairs were very fun! Loved the breakfast; fruit, coffee and toast. And the staff were so friendly and helpful, they get 10/5 stars :)

Great host, beautiful sunrises
The sunrises from the balcony and the host, Roger, were highlights. We booked here because we could bring our dog. Roger was very welcoming- he was previously a veterinarian in Merida. He went out of his way to make things nice for us. Room was clean and comfortable.

This hotel was recommended to us by our guide from Yucatan Ecotours and we were very grateful for the tip. This place is immaculate and the service was outstanding from the time we arrived until we left (even though we were late checking out and caused them unnecessary inconvenience). I hope to return one day, the whole experience was relaxing and idyllic!

The property is located on the waterfront so the view of the ocean, little fisherman boats, etc. Is beautiful. The only plus for this hotel was that the room had 3 beds in it( however very creaky). The air conditioner did not work, it pretended to, but everything was wet from the humidity, even the tile floor was wet and slippery. There was no hot water, took cold showers, even after manager or owner did something that was supposed to give us hot water. Then, after I took a shower (cold), there was no water at all when my kids wanted to shower! It was the worst hotel we stayed at during our 10 day road trip through the Yucutan.

It was wonderful and I highly recommend it. Right on a water and we could enjoy the boats during breakfast. Breakfast was coffee, toasts, gams, and bitter but that was enough. Room was simple but spacious and there was an air conditioning. Street Parking was very easy. The host helped us arrange a boat trip with a very short notice (we arrived very late and our boat was ready at 7:30 am). We liked our stay !

A great view of the Lagoon, and a sweet little spot with very kind hosts. Take the lagoon tour, but dont do it in the rain. ;)

If you’re headed to Ria Lagartos I highly recommend this hotel. The owner was so kind, he even brought us breakfast up to our patio. It was clean and right on the water.

The hotel had a genuine feeling, but it felt a little basic. The room was big enough, the bathroom more than adequate. Aircon worked. We would have loved that the lady at the reception spoke some English. We made due with our little knowledge of Spanish. The same lady however contacted a partner who could provide us with the necessary excursions for the next dat. Great recommendation. Small note of critique: the headboard of the bed was made out of some kind of fresh wood (I'm not sure the chirping sound of some kind of insect / woodworm was supposed to be there...). Breakfast was simple, but ok.

"Mi experiencia en este hotel ha sido decepcionante. A pesar de que se promociona como pet-friendly, no se especifica claramente el límite de mascotas en sus características. Me cobraron extra por llevar una segunda mascota, lo cual no se mencionó previamente. Además, el estado del cuarto es lamentable, con grietas, objetos oxidados y una luz tenue en el baño. Es evidente que el hotel carece del mantenimiento adecuado para recibir huéspedes. Además, la actitud del Sr. que atiende deja mucho que desear, mostrando falta de profesionalismo y dejando una mala impresión en los turistas. Es necesario que el hotel mejore en todos estos aspectos para ofrecer una experiencia satisfactoria a sus clientes.
