"My family and I loved all of it. Is it perfect? No, but it did not have to be? In order to be fair I need to rate the individual aspects and put them in perspective. Hotel Overall the hotel is a 5 star. Its clean, well maintained. exceptional service, beautiful foliage and atmosphere. Location 5 (Rio Celeste Area) Rooms 5 Big, beautiful, clean and outdoor shower my favorite. Pool Area 5. Why? It is super clean. relaxing and Service is always available. Even if your are the only person or family at the pool area they have full service (Food/Drinks) Kantala Restaurant 4.5, Food 5, Star, Price 4.5 only because portions are small. If you have children and are at diner they will accommodate ordering from the lunch menu, just have to ask. What a wonderful accommodation!. Tours booked thru hotel: 5, Why? You pay a little bit more but they provide wonderful door to door service and the extra charge is worth it. Hotel Staff 5: We encountered wonderful staff in all areas, not one single complaint. I would say EXCEPETIONAL! We stayed for 5 nights. We will surely return and stay for longer within the next two years. I was able to relax and my wife and children would love to do it again. We will not chance changing hotel on our return simply because our experience was complete. The hotel's location is wonderful and there are many attractions nearby. Feel free to explore the area. You don't need car but I recommend one if you want to explore freely the surrounding, Simply WONDERFUL!"

"We absolutely loved our stay here. Kevin, Eris, and all the other staff we met were so kind, so helpful, and so interested in sharing Costa Rica’s incredible culture and experiences. We had the resort mostly to ourselves for the first couple of days, which felt like such a privilege, but even when it filled back up, the experience was just as amazing. I’d recommend La Mansion to anyone traveling to Costa Rica!"

"I loved my stay there. I somehow thought that there were hot springs on the property which there are not. I tried to drive to them but it was quite a long drive and I took a wrong turn and then was not able to ultimately hit the hot springs before they closed. Aside from that I really enjoyed my stay and loved the property. I would totally go back."

"My family and I had a great stay here! JP and his associates welcomed us and made us feel at home. Complimentary breakfast was great and the other meals were delicious. The room itself was great given you are in the jungle, so there was no a/c and typical sugar ants but nothing unexpected. The pool and the views were gorgeous. The hot tub was down while we were there but it wasn’t missed. We took advantage of the Lake Tour and La Tia’s massage services which were both worth the money. We traveled to La Fortuna and used a shuttle service that picked us up right from the hotel. Overall, we would definitely stay here again!"
