Mantra Charles Hotel Launceston

"Arrived early afternoon and got our free parking pass at reception. Reception staff efficient and welcoming, rooms clean air conditioner already on for our arrival. Sizeable bathroom with plenty of quality shampoo conditioner and body wash. Quiet room with very comfortable bed. We ate in the restaurant. The food was good I had the wagyu burger my wife the gnocchi it came quickly, nicely prepared and well presented. Service was efficient however our waitress calling everybody “my dears” every time she came to the table was friendly enough to start but painful every other time. A decent wine list with quality wines by the glass at reasonable prices. All in all a great stay only for a night but a great place that we would certainly stay at in the future without hesitation."

"Enjoyed our stay at Changes. Very central to the city. Plenty of space in the apartment however in a kitchen of that size there were no extra bits and pieces eg salt and pepper, oil, kitchen papers or small dishes. The outlook was great over the city but just be aware that often on the weekend Fri and Sat night that Launceston apparently has an institution called “blockies” where idiots drive continually around the city block revving their engines and being a general nuisance. This went on till 2 am and in conjunction with the music blasting from a nearby club we got little sleep. I personally would stay at this hotel again but never on a weekend night ever!!"
