"A wonderful interesting and historic pub. Then a modern well designed hotel with easy access at any time. Bedrooms and bathrooms were first rate ! As was the service. Charming staff , excellent breakfast. A truly memorable stay."

"The hotel staff were extremely friendly and helpful. We particularly enjoyed using the pool before breakfast when it wasn't busy. We felt there wasn't enough social space to sit and have a coffee and chat with other guests. There also seemed to be a problem with the courtyard bar which wasn't open during our stay."

Even the smallest B&Bs provide a full fry so it's reasonable to expect it from the expensive enough hotel like this one. Not enough space or staff to run breakfast, had to eat from a napkin due to no plates being available. Nothing is being replenished, once it's gone is gone, even if it's 9am and breakfast runs until 11. Hot options - sc Lastly, no air conditioner. As pretty as the bathroom and the room is, we wouldn't stay here again. "
