The COVID-19 pandemic has resulted in major changes to how we travel. If you're flying to Ridley, the following tips will help you navigate these new challenges:

• Before you book a flight, check if any travel restrictions apply — in both your origin and destination. Get up-to-date information by checking government travel advisories.
• You must wear a face mask at the airport, including at screening checkpoints. Be prepared to adjust your mask for ID verification when asked by a TSA officer.
• You're no longer required to hand your boarding pass (paper or electronic) directly to a TSA employee. Rather, position the pass on the reader and then hold it up so the agent can inspect it.
• One liquid hand sanitizer container is now permitted in your carry-on bag. It must be no bigger than 12 oz (350 ml), and you'll need to take it out of your bag for scanning.
• To reduce handling during the screening process, place items such as your loose change and phone into your carry-on instead of into the bins.
• Transport any food items in a clear plastic bag and also put them in a screening bin. Keeping your food separate from your carry-on makes it less likely that a TSA agent will need to open your bag for inspection.
