This is definitely more of a motel than a hotel, it is clean but definitely not hotel quality. For the price you can’t go wrong, the staff is very helpful and kind, and for the one night I stayed I didn’t have any issues!

Decent hotel especially for its price
It was indeed very clean and the bed felt amazing beat sleep I've had in a long time. I wish there were some outlets to charge my devices. Room fetl nice especially since it's getting cold in November.

PLEASE AVOID THIS PLACE!!!! HORRIBLE ATTITUDE, DIRTY BATHROOM, HAIR ON THE BED AND ON THE BED SHEETS, DIRTY BATH TOWELS! Who seemed to be the owners wife had the worst attitude IN THE WORLD, she was very rude even worse than the administrator. We had to stay here because everywhere else was totally booked and we needed a break. These people had the audacity of telling me that the bed sheets had been cleaned and changed. As soon as I opened the bed there was hair on it and the bed sheets had been turned inside out to re-use them without washing them. When we asked for a clean set of sheets to put on the bed, the woman that brought them just throw them at my husband and left. The new "clean" sheets we got smelled like body grease (If they washed them I doubt they used any detergent). The bathroom smelled like urine, bathtub was not clean at all; the bottom of it was dark, you can see soap stains all over and the faucet looks like it's never been cleaned. Bath towels smell and clearly have body grease on them. There was a dead bug on the sink and a couple spiders in the bathroom.

We booked through Orbitz an hour away from the property. When we arrived it was around midnight, and the parking lot was nearly empty. The door was locked and no one at the desk. I called through the slot of the exterior window, and a disheveled older man appeared. I gave him my reservation number and driver’s license. He handed it back, said he had no such rate, and told me he was canceling. He offered no apology, alternate rate, alternative solution, nor recommend another hotel. I reminded him that his agreement was with Orbitz, and that I had never encountered such a situation where a hotel refused to honor a reservation through any travel site in my many years of using them. He shrugged his shoulders, and returned to the dark hallway from which he emerged.

Just to be clear, this is a MOtel, not a HOtel. Typical low budget motel. Mostly neat and clean. Beds are firm but comfortable. Laminate wood flooring instead of carpeting. Lots of little blemishes if you look close. Overall a decent place to stay.

Was clean and a good place to sleep while working! The mattress slept awful, but like I said before it was clean. That was the most important to me. Staff was friendly and available. Would stay again for a day or 2, not for 3 continuous nights.

I had a great stay at this hotel. The owners where very welcoming. They even went out of their way to give me a plate of their family dinner, which was such a blessing. I was having a run of bad luck with food but they saved the day with their kind gesture. I will be booking again with them and you should to . Great price and great service.

This is a Great Property, clean well maintained, newly remodeled, friendly staff, location is great for traveling, nice quiet town. Close to the Marine Base for a third of the Motel cost. Will make it a point to stay again the next time I am in the area.

For one the water smelled horrible I couldn’t take a shower because the water for some reason smell awful. The curtains had blood stains on them they had two refrigerators in the room but only one work the room also had that abandoned apartment smell in it cable had awful signal was going in and out constantly. But hey you get what you pay for right

Great if all you need is a comfy bed
So here's the good news: The beds are super clean and comfy. If all you need is a place to catch some zzz's on a budget this is a great hotel. The other plus was that the staff seems friendly. They have the biggest fridge I've ever seen in a hotel room, it was great for chilling water bottles for the beach. Here's the bad news: The lobby was always locked, you had to communicate with the staff via a window that was only open a crack. It was hard to hear each other. The floors felt a little dirty to my bare feet upon arrival and there was a ring around the toilet, although it was otherwise clean. They have a phone in the room but don't be fooled, it's all for show, it's not hooked up to anything and doesn't work. Here's the really bad news. We were there for 4 days and 3 nights and housekeeping didn't come even once. We had to empty our own trash and frequent trips to the beach meant that there was sand everywhere during our entire stay.

The beds were super comfortable. However the overall feel was yucky. You get what you pay for. That is why it is so much cheaper than surrounding hotels. Also it is more like a motel than hotel.

Very convinient and good price for a few days sleep if you can't find a hotel in Hilton Head or Tybee island, an hour drive, very nice owners and clean rooms. Also it is 30 minutes away fr bluftton if you want to have a nice dinner. Other than that not much else you can do there.

The room seemed neat/clean but when we went to use bath towels they had stains on them which felt dirty. Thank goodness we had beach towels with us for use instead. Also, no maid service during our stay - so those dirty towels did not get replaced. Might be Covid related on the no maid service.

A few decorative upgrades to an older motel have improved it somewhat, but it is still an old motel. The bed was the best improvement as I like soft beds with firm underpinnings, and I slept well here. However, the bathroom fixtures have not been replaced, nor has the desk area. There is no hanger for towels in the sink area, and a an empty closet where the old small refrigerator used to be. That said, check in was easy, parking is convenient. There is a lovely lawn area with a little garden just behind the motel, and the location, with its proximity to the highway, some good restaurants, and a wooded park just across the street make for a nice stay. I am glad I didn’t pay full price though and got the discount through Expedia.

Worst customer service ever!!! I arrived 31 minutes before 4pm. There was a thunderstorm going on and I had 4 tired kids in the car. The parking lot was completely empty. The lady at the front desk stated that the room was not ready and turned away! I was shocked! I then went to another hotel across the street.
